It isn't as compact as I usually buy, but that is due to its design, the way it opens and closes, however like the fact that the edges show up in the dark, and rain doesn't collect in it, no more dripping on the floor, it's good for value and does it's job. Push button open and closing, making it easy to use.

As "pocket" umbrellas go, this perhaps a touch on the large and heavy side; on the other hand, this extra weight and mass is because it's a bit more robust than the standard cheap supermarket umbrellas. I (un)fortunately haven't had a chance to test it in any high winds yet, but I'd certainly be a bit more comfortable with taking it out during a high breeze! Beyond that, it's pretty much just a standard umbrella, barring the fact that it's got a reflective strip around its rim. Which I quite like from a styling perspective, and I can see how it might help to make you more visible if you're wandering through a dark and stormy night... All in all, it does the job!

This umbrella is great! It helps with the gusts by the sea and it is still lightweight and tiny to fold. It fits perfectly into my handbag. I really love this umbrella and I gladly recommend it to you.
