FMS Reflex V3 Flight Controller Gyro Stabilizer Remote Control for RC Plane Fixed Wing

Perfect performance.

I am building a plane and ran across this unit. Even though I haven't tested the unit in flight yet, I was able to simulate values on my test bench and was very pleased with the results. The unit isn't super big, but it is also not super small. With that said, there is also a need for the size to be a certain dimension due to the various inputs into/out of the device. For the price, I believe it is worth it and I am looking forward to getting some more flights in under my belt with the help of this flight controller!

Purchased to install in my new FMS 2.0 meter Beaver. My first FMS product and pleasantly surprised with the ease of the installation, connected with a Spektrum AR620 receiver. This is the version 3 which is programmable for all the FMS airplanes for the ease of the cell phone at the field which allows you yo make changes in the programming. This unit can be used in any FMS plane and can be removed for say, your P-47 and installed in your Beaver using the factor settings in a short time. It comes complete with all the necessary cables needed to charge and install the system in your plane. It offers stability and level flying choices and appears to be of high quality.

What a disappointment! Went through the setup procedure and all was well. Then is when it went crazy. First thing when I took off in optimized mode it was uncontrollable. Switch to normal with no stabilization and flew fine. Later discovered it had reversed the ailerons. When I tried to use the app it said the password was wrong. There are instructions on how to reset the password but failed every time. Then I plugged the plane in and it wouldn’t even light up. It’s dead now and I am 5 days past the ability to return it. What a failure for FMS!

The factory password would not work and I got tired waiting on hold for FMS Support. I returned the item to Amazon.

The Reflex works but I can not get the app to download the right software to work on my iPhone.

You can't reverse servo throw, or location/orientation flight controller. Would be great if your custom setting were savable to a file. Good try FMS, you came up short.
