Great for the price
My 5 year old is obsessed with the planets and the universe and he loves these. These inflatable planets are great for those little explorers and I’m certain would do great in a classroom. Be prepared to have these planets take a lot of space.

Worth the money, but not fantastic.
Generally these definitely add a fun element to the classroom, especially if you have the room (50 feet or so) to set them up in a row accross your classroom. They will also work well with a longer hallway with high ceilings. Specific to the actual objects themselves: - They were easy to attach to a drop ceiling with small string and a paper clip (just one paper clip will hold them). - Blowing them up took FOREVER. They provide a pump to aid in this process, but it wasn't especially helpful for speeding up the process, just for saving your lips from touching the terribly scary (chemically) smelling objects. - One quarter of Saturn's rings just doesn't stay up all the way. I tried to readjust it a few times without luck. This makes it look fairly sloppy. - The sun ended up looking a little bit oblong or ellipsoidish. Blowing it up with more and more air helps, but it doesn't quite make it spherical. - The following "objects" aren't easily distinguishable: Mercury, Moon, Pluto. Nothing really sold me on which one was what. - the patterns on all of the planets were not detailed from close up, but from about 10 feet away they look just fine. All these things mentioned, I feel like I still got my money's worth, and paid for what I got! $35 to add a lot of context to your classroom? Yes!

Large, colorful and durable
I purchased this inflatable solar system set as a gift for my son who’s shown interest in space recently. He has some small astronaut toys and a space ship and he was asking for planets to go along with them. The set arrived nicely packaged with each planet being neatly folded and individually wrapped (see attached pictures.) Each planet also came with its own repair patch. The set has all the planets, including Pluto, the sun (which is ENORMOUS) and Earth’s moon. All the planets are much larger than I expected. I didn’t realize when I ordered, but a manual pump is also included. I was thrilled when I realized I wouldn’t have to blow everything up by mouth. Another surprise was that each planet has two small circular spots near the inflation port, so the planets can be hung up with string or thread. The colors and designs of the planets are bright and vivid. The plastic used feels more substantial than other cheap plastic blow up items. The only issue I found was that not all of the planets are self sealing after being blown up. So once you inflate the planet you have to do the old switch-a-roo to your finger then close the plug quickly before any air escapes. It’s not that big of a deal, but some do self seal and others don’t. All in all my son is thrilled with his gift and it’s definitely a great value for the money.

Great idea, but the quality is not great!
It's so much fun for my son to play with these (beach) balls who is in love with Solar System/Planets. The Sun's size is impressively big. However, I purchased the opened-box item/Like-new set due to the price was lower than the brand new set. Of course, some of the inner packages that came were already opened, and the Earth one's air top was broken. Also, it has many leaks, I already patched three spots, but still not be able to keep it full for more than a few minutes till it goes flat. Amazon Prime was kind and partially refunded me. Nevertheless, I'm not sure it is worth a headache trying to fix them...

Huge
These are great! My son absolutely loves them. They’ve held air with no issues for over a month now. They look great. It comes with a pump, but if you have an electric one…use it. These things are MASSIVE. I know it says “giant” but you never know what to expect when ordering online. They are indeed giant. The sun is even bigger than those giant bouncy balls in the cage in Walmart. Airing up the smaller planets was a nice break. I did have a little difficulty getting the plugs in on the smaller ones without a bunch of air coming out. But that’s possibly a me issue tbh.

High quality and photorealistic planetary fun!
Bought this about a year ago for our 2 year old, and she loved, loved, loved them. Had to sleep with them in bed and dragged them around all day. They are fairly large, photorealistic, spherical and good quality. And the sizes are great, the sun and Jupiter are huge. It takes some powerful lungs to blow those guys up! The only issue we had was with Saturn developing holes where the rings are secured to the ball. Pretty sad, but it still makes a good frisbee. But the other planets have withstood toddler exuberance and even bouncing on them, so thumbs up from us! I'm actually buying another set for our other 18 month old who loves planets and balls, too. He's going to freak out.
