Perfect fix
This worked well. I was able to fix the touchscreen of our 2017 Passat radio for next to nothing. Make sure to watch YouTube videos and get the right Torx drivers.

Excellent Replacement
Works perfect for the known touchscreen issues on the VW’s. There are instructional YouTube videos out there step by step on how to fix it. Hands down best $20 I’ve spent . Makes the screen feel brand new again!

17 Tiguan S (mk2) MIB2 non nav digitizer fix really works great!!!
Works perfectly on a 2017 Tiguan S MIB2 non nav display. You will need to watch a youtube video, and you basically just lay this new digitizer over the old after the full disassembly. Before this fix, there was absolutely no functionality of the original screen, and my friend just purchased the vehicle and we negotiated based on us purchasing a new radio, but little did we know we would only be spending 20 bucks!! 14/10 recommend!

Received Digitizer DOA
The part was beautiful, I installed it and made sure it was perfectly aligned, the part number matched the previous one, and when I turned the car back on touch wasn’t working. I can’t even unstick it to return because the adhesive is so strong. The ribbon ripped off as I was trying to remove it. Maybe test the part before sticking it down. Personally this attempt cost me more than it’s worth since I now need to buy the entire LCD and digitizer assembly.

So far so good. Easy install and works perfectly.

Followed a few of the numerous YouTube vids and it works perfectly. This screen is the glossed one. Not matte. Recommend getting a trim plastic pry set and a small torx as seen in the YouTube vids.
