Digirig Coiled Shielded USB-A to USB-C Cable with Ferrites

...what an amazing product...i have an original cable but without the ferrites (ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY when working digital modes) and thought it would be better working Vara FM on a BTECH UV-5x3 - IT DOES!!! NO RF INTERFERENCE AT ALL!!...the size is perfect, and it works with the Digirig 1.9 Mobile AND the DR-891!...thinking about getting another one for my Kenwood TM-V71A...Denis makes some fabulous digital support equipment! Blessings!!

There isn't all that much one can same about a cable, the obvious questions are is it well made - connections to the connectors good, quality of the wire and does it work. The answer to all is yes it is well made with could quality connectors and it works.

Works very well. No rf interference with devices. Durable indoors and outdoors. Coiled cable keeps things organized.

Quality heavy duty cable and works great. I was having issues with my 2022 Highlander Android Auto repeatedly dropping connection. I tried many different cables and even an adapter that was supposed to fix this issue to no avail. When trying AA in other cars, it worked fine, but something was up in the Toyota. Over time, I noticed a cycling pattern and also data flow issues with an AA wireless adapter. All of this added up to one of 2 things. A radio issue or an interference/ground loop problem. I decided to give this cable a try and it has been smooth going ever since. I highly recommend it as it is well made, tight coil and heavy duty. If you are having issues with Car Play, Android Auto or data transfer, give it a shot. It may resolve all your woes.

Use to connect mobile phone to car. Non-shielded cable seem to sometimes have challenges so I spent a little more for a product that works. Length is good for my application in Honda Odyssey. Seems durable.

I purchased this cable because I was constantly getting RF into the computer from my QRP rig (QMX+), which caused WSJT-X to lose it's connection. This happened on many bands except 20 meters. After replacing the standard USB cable with this one with the ferites, the RFI stopped and WSJT-X is happy. I will be purchasing more of these cables. UPDATE: I ordered a second cable for my Xiegu X6100 and laptop that had constant trouble losing CAT control and disconnecting from WSJT-X. It now functions perfectly 100% of the time!

This is a High Quality shielded cable. It recommend this for use with amateur radio equipment.

Shielded cables are always welcome and this coiled cable lets me hand the phone to my passenger without yanking it out of the USB socket in the car. The coiled bit rests nicely and isn't so long that it can get tangled with my feet. It also helps to keep RF out of my computer when I'm connecting to the Digirig with this cable, as it was intended to do.
