UPDATE: Govee’s customer service was VERY friendly and helpful, and they fully resolved my problems. They have restored my faith in their company. I’ll be a fan forever. Thanks Govee (and Chris, who is awesome!). ————- First off, I am usually a HUGE Govee fan. This was going to be my 12th Govee product, but unfortunately I’m extremely disappointed with these. That’s actually an understatement! There are NO CLIPS whatsoever with these lights, which I thought was pretty rotten, especially after finding out that’s how they sell this product now. It wasn’t a mistake! They USED to come with clips though! So all you get are the lights, period. The adhesive is TERRIBLE, which becomes even worse when you consider that you don’t even get clips to install them with! You’re supposed to rely 100% on the weak adhesive. It does NOT hold!!! My wall is perfectly smooth and clean too. Also, the light quality is very inconsistent throughout the whole strip. I was shocked by that as well. These are expensive lights! This is unacceptable all around!!! After 11 happy Govee purchases, this is the first product of theirs I’ve been disappointed with. I’m actually beyond disappointed. I do NOT recommend these lights whatsoever.

Bright, flexible, and easy to install, this neon rope adds a vibrant glow to any space. The light is even and eye-catching, making it perfect for room décor, parties, or accent lighting. Durable and energy-efficient, it’s a fun way to upgrade any setup.

The set up of these lights was pretty quick an easy. There’s the option to screw the mounting plates into the wall or just use the adhesive on the back of the plates without screws. I found that when I didn’t screw them into the wall the adhesive fell off the wall pretty quickly. But since I’ve screwed them all in I haven’t had an issue. I love all of the color options and the in app features. You can set the lights to move to the best of your music, have one solid color, or have multiple colors. There’s various patterns and colors in the app or you can customize what you want the light strip to look like. The app is easy to use and I honestly don’t use it that much now that I have the lights set how I like them. It’s a fun and functional way to spice up any room. I love having fun lights like this in my gym. I would buy them again.

The RGB Strip itself: - Looks good! and the angled design makes it fit perfectly along the edges of a room. - Integrated into HomeAssistant using the Matter plugin, but this results in some features (patterns and effects) not being available, which is a bit disappointing. - At lower brightness, the individual segments are visible, but it's not distracting Installation: Installed this in my bedroom using the provided clips / adhesive strips. Normally, I wouldn't trust adhesives with these sorts of products, but it seemed to be (actually) name brand, and pretty substantial. Installation was pretty easy, and mounting seemed stable - until I came back from a trip after a few weeks. The entire strip had fallen, but rather than the adhesive coming detached from my wall, it had, in most cases, came detached from the plastic clip. It seems that the lack of any surface texture on the plastic clips didn't create a good bond, and resulted in detachment. After reinstalling with screws, have not had any further issues!

UPDATE =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- After going back and forth with what seems to be an AI at Govee they WILL NOT send me the clips that were INCLUDED in my first order - instead they (claim) to be giving me a FULL refund but I do NOT have to send back the lights (not that I can use them without the clips). So if this happens to you do what I did and do NOT STOP until they give you your money back - I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER GOVEE PRODUCT AGAIN - EVER. PERIOD. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Does NOT include mounting hardware - hardware that USED TO COME WITH IT. But now it's just double sided tape so there's ZERO CHANCE it will stay. IT WILL NOT STAY. I own 2 sets of these - the first came with these great clips that I screwed into the wall to hold it perfectly tight - nope, not anymore. But it's the EXACT SAME PRODUCT, at least here on Amazon. Seems they got their great reviews so now they can worsen the product and make more money. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE Govee - I own almost a dozen of your lights and this is a big kick in the teeth. DO NOT BUY AT ALL COSTS!!!

This light outlines a fireplace that is controlled by Homey Pro for automations and the light is very nice - it adds nice ambiance to the living room. Highly recommend Govee for the variety of lights and eco systems.

This was installed between ceiling and wall. The clear support pieces are almost unnoticeable. Installation would take some time since anchors and screws are required but the end result is very satisfactory. While one strip light would not be bright enough to light up the room by itself, having it with other lighting fixtures such as lamps does give a very unique and pleasing atomsphere to the room.

This thing's got it. If anyone asks me why my living room looks like a rave party now, my answer is simple: RGBs everywhere. I wrapped this neon rope light around everything I could find—furniture, plants, the cat (temporarily, don’t worry)—and now my house looks like it moonlights as a nightclub. Need mood lighting? Boom, RGBs. Want to feel like you're gaming in a sci-fi spaceship? RGBs. Just bored and want to vibe? RGBs! This thing is the ultimate solution to a boring room. It’s not just a light; it’s a personality upgrade. Fair warning: once you turn it on, you might forget what a normal light bulb even looks like.

j'ai acheté et j'ai aimé du premier coup d'œil. ils sont très faciles a installer et a contrôler. malheureusement,ils ont cessé de fonctionner quelques mois (5-6 mois) plus tard. Le service d'après vente a été SUPER efficace et rapide. 2-3 courriels simple et quelques photos, et ils m'ont réenvoyer une boîte neuve en livraison express. 5 sur 5 !!! je recommande vivement!

While I own other Govee products that I love, these wall lining neon lights are an absolute disappointment. The adhesive is absolute garbage. After following the instructions on how to mount the lights, i.e. cleaning the walls before hand, etc. These lights went up no problem, but came down within minutes. There are no mounting clips. The lights are too heavy for the adhesive, therefore the product is useless and does not deliver or fulfill its purpose. Govee customer service sent me more lights, which I did not ask for (because they will deliver the same results). When I expressed this to them, they finally agreed to give me a full refund, which I have yet to see on my credit card statement. Do not purchase this product until they come up with another solution for their below grade adhesive.

does not come with the corner mounting clips, as seen in the listing photo (item #3) i contacted govee and they are very aware it's not in the boxes but for some reason wont update the listing? based on other reviews they changed at least a few months ago. please update your listing!!
