Plug and play Bluetooth adapter USB that works great for my Windows PC that was unequipped with Bluetooth. No need to install anything. Connection and performance is satisfactory. Device is compact and works for me.

Took a while, but got it working!

This product was ok. But for what I wanted it for I needed a better range. But granddaughtner is using it .

It says USB 2.0 (that it will work with USB 3.0), but the USB type A connector is really USB 1.1 (even has a black connector on the inside of the USB type A connector). Chip is RTL8761B. And does appear support Bluetooth 5.4 standards. The chip supports BLE protocols, it does not do BLE Audio. Device does support SBS, AAC, and only Aptx audio codic. Unable to confirm ldac codic. Range is increased, but unable to confirm large range given by seller. What I can say is that using SBS audio codic, previous Bluetooth dongles would give me a range of 16 feet, this dongle can easily double that. Overall, a good buy, using RealTek chip, and does give a better range then dongles not using an antenna.

Works. Takes minimal space. Looks attractive in a cyberpunk kind of way. Would buy again.

I specifically purchased this adapter to deal with devices that weren't within a few feet of the original adapter, and as far as I can tell there isn't any improvement in range-- it might even be worse. It also frequently disconnects, sometimes requiring disabling and reenabling the BT services to get it to recognize devices. I eventually went back to the original adapter I was using, which actually works consistently. BTW, this is used on an Ubuntu 24 Linux system. It's been very reliable with other devices, but I had to download an updated driver to get the adapter to work at all, and it still has been very glitchy.

I need a BT that could punch through a house (it does). It way more stable and less interference. I limit tested and in a best case scenario 150ft. Worst case ~ 80ft when it sending though the house. Incredible peice of hardware. Plug and play re connect Bluetooth and I’m hands free on sales call business calls or recreational videos I may be listening. I’m no longer stuck to ~33ft. Blessed. If you’re on the fence I’d seriously consider this. I’m very pleased with the enhanced Bluetooth codec. It is much more stable.

This antenna works well, but it was a challenge to make it work, possibly due to how my computer was working and the difficulty pairing the Bose 700 NC headphones.
