I keep a multi-tool of sorts in every vehicle and also all of my various bags I have for different purposes. I own Leathermans and some higher end Victorinox multitools so I know what quality is. I’d say this one is good enough but it depends what you’re using it for. Comparing the plier heads to a Wave these are smaller and thinner. Comparing the Wave scissors to the Nextool is laughable. The scissors on this tool are excellent. That was one of the main points for me. The shears on the unit I received are excellent. It does come with a slightly wider tool to accommodate the full-size scissors. But that’s fine with me as I don’t carry this tool. The rest of the tools remarks: Where they cut corners in on the tool stock for the ancillary tools. The bottle opener is thin. The saw is very thin to the point I would wear heavy gloves trying it out. The awl/small driver is what it is. The Phillips driver is actually very good and the magnetic detent for the bit kit is very good. The main blade: Wow all Chinese multi-tools seem to go with this sheep-foot blade with a big belly. I guess it’s alright. A drop point shape is more like what we like in the west. Just copy the Wave blade. It was sharp and good. It’s a mixed bag with the small tools but the big tools are pretty good, except the saw, not too sure about that. I’ll re-visit this review after I test it but it seems thin. Now the good: the scissors are great. The main blade was very sharp. The pliers performed decently but the I would be leary leaning on them. The bit kit is a great touch. Overall very good tool.

Love this multitool! I work in LE and it’s one of the best personal tool I got for myself. Good size to carry on my vest and when you need it, youll be glad that you have it.

If I could only carry one tool this would be it. Does everything and more with better feel than any weatherman I have owned. Sharp and functional! Amazing value on an exquisite design. Throw it on your belt and forget it till it saves you; you’ll forget you’re carrying it.

Purchased this tool as a backup for similar tool by "Lutavoy" that has everything in this Nextool minus hacksaw and knot untie tool Lutavoy tool was 175.7 grams, but it's no longer sold on amazon, so purchased this Nextool which weights 205.8g on its own. I prefer tools in silver or chrome because wear on them is much less visible, but this Nextool seem like it's descent quality, the bits themselves inside their plastic/rubber holder are 60.4g and the holster is 20.7g making the entire package weight 286.9 grams.

This is a great multitool with very useful tools. The scissors are large and precise. Easily cut paracord. The pliers are precision machined and spring loaded. The overall fit and finish of the multitool are comparable to those costing several times the price. It is my everyday carry multitool.

A bit too heavy for me, but that's a minor. The most serious problem -- main blade is not lockable. There is a lock! But it doesn't work. The funny thing is that at the same time the saw has lock too, though I believe for a knife it's actually much more important feature than for a saw -- actually, the saw could come even without any lock at all and I wouldn' t worry. But the saw does have it. And this lock is very unreliable, but works ok if you help it with your finger to lock, right after opening the saw. How ever, with the knife lock even your participation doesn't help: the knife lock is absolutely useless, and it is a serious safety issue. Another rather irritating flaw is regarding the bit socket. It dances, being placed on the Philips screwdriver. They match very loose. So when you're working with a screw and press rather hard, the whole thing periodically jumps from here to there. This is, afaik, rather common for this combination. I still hope to find some non-dancing bit socket, lockable, say, with bearings. Returning it with a bleeding heart. As I said -- great idea, sad implementation :(

This is a very functional and well equipped multi-tool and the bit set makes it infinitely more functional. Plus the sheath tops it off. Very functional well equipped good value I highly recommend it.

UPDATE: Updated my review to five stars because there was just something wrong with my particular bit set. The seller contacted me and got me a new socket and the magnetic strength is great. There is no way it will fall out of the tool when using it. The description says "strong magnetic connection" for the bits; however, there's next to nothing. The bits just fall out of the tool's socket. It's extremely frustrating unless you happen to be screwing something against gravity. The fact that it has a *usable* scissors and pliers is awesome so it is with mixed feelings that I give it only 3 stars but the bits are nearly useless because of the lack of "magnetic connection" and I might've gone higher with the stars had they not explicitly stated that it was "strong" because it is not (or they forgot to install the magnet in mine?).

This multi-tool has been amazing. For the last year I've used it as my EDC and it's been great. The scissors are phenomenal for a multi-tool. Considering the cost of other big brand name knives, this has performed admirably. It has basically all of the things you want day to day. Pliers are solid. Scissors are amazing. The knife is a great length. Put it all together and it's everything I've needed out of an Every Day Carry knife. Definitely recommend this multitool.

The bit adapter is not magnetic, as advertised. That the only problem I had with the Black Knight. But afterward they got my news and able to help.me get the right bit adapter that is magnetic and had it ship to me very soon, I was very pleased and help the problem has been resolved. Basicly they listen and able to help me out asap.

I went through many multitools and this is the one I settled on. It is a great tool for every day carry. It is heavier than expected but it is a solid item that I use everyday.

Returned. Too heavy. Never opened the package. Purchased a smaller one for my daughter.
