Tickle Me [DVD]

This was the 18th movie in Elvis's film career, yet it's name wasn't 'Tickle Me' at first. They called it Rodeo, then Isle of Paradise, before choosing the final title as: 'Tickle Me'. Elvis Presley as a Rodeo star Lonnie Beale who while waiting for his next Rodeo competition to arrive, takes a part-time job on a Fitness Ranch with beautiful women, hungry horses and lots of songs to keep them happy. Some great songs in this film include: Such an Easy Question, Night Rider, and Dirty, Dirty Feeling, while he was mucking out the stables for the horses! This is one of the better Elvis films in his collection with comedy moments as Elvis Presley, Julie Adams, Jocelyn Lane have to deal with the antics of Jack Mullanay's character Stanley Potter, trying to help and getting in all sorts of trouble.

I can remember seeing this film from many, many years ago. I am a huge Elvis fan and I must admit that watching this today, there are "cringeworthy" scenes, but then you have to remember the era that this was filmed in. Having said that, it is quite a good storyline and there is a couplf of very funny scenes that will make you laugh out loud (which is rare nowadays, I can tell you). So sit back and enjoy, well, you will if you're an Elvis fan, probably not if you aren't.

This Film Of Elvis Is My Absolute Facourite It's Different From All His Other Movies, It Was The Only Movie That Had No Original Material, All The Songs Was Pre-recorded And It Was All Made In The Allied Artists Studio, It's One Film I Had To Have ON DVD Even Though It's Not Been Released On DVD Yet I Had To Have It Done I Payed £350 Just To Have The First Ever Original DVD Release That's Due For Release In 2006 Next Year, I Also Have 9 Original Copys Of It On VHS/Video Including 3 Copys Of The Re-release By '4 Front Video' All The Others On VHS Are Done By Castle Pictures The DVD Is Done By Allied Artits The Original Company, This Is A Must Have For Any True Die Hard Elvis Presley Fan, If You Haven't Seen It You Don't Know What Your Missing So Slip On Your Blue Suede Shoes And Let's Go Rickin' Tonight With Elvis Presley In 'TICKLE ME' By Clinton Horton, From Hengoed Mid Glamorgon, South Wales.

It’s Elvis

This is an Elvis film which means girls girls girls and songs songs songs but it is lots of fun fun fun. Its a film to chill to nice, happy feel to it film. I am a bit biased where Elvis is concerned but my daughter who is a teenager loves Elvis films she says they always cheer her up . This film reminds me of scooby doo type humor . very sixties . I for one am glad Elvis made these films anyone can watch them nothing in them to offend and garanteed to make you smile . songs include long lonely highway and give me the right and night rider. Waited a long time for this to be released. The haunted house scene is funny and my son laughed a lot at it. I would recommend this film. its not Jailhouse rock or King creale but it great fun film .

Tickle Me [DVD ] Delivery great, still more to come to finish the Elvis Collection, another VHS bites the dust, Space is incredible and cost is magic.I do not know what I would have done without Amazon. I will soon be spending big again once I have tidied my living room, I prefer DVDs and CDs less space and weight used. Just a very few more Elvis DVDs then I can see my room that much clearer.

This dvd jumps and freezes in the middle of the film, I can send it back for another one, but it can't be watched as it is damaged can you let me know what to do with it please thank you

J'adore ce film plein d'humour. Et les chansons sont géniales. Attention film en anglais uniquement et pas de sous-titrage en français ! Commande reçue très rapidement et en parfait. Deuxième achat fait avec ce vendeur : il est parfait. Je le recommande.

Seit einiger Zeit bin ich nunmehr im Besitz der DVD "Tickle Me", wobei es sich um ein UK-Import handelt. Das bedeutet, dieser Film ist nicht synchronisiert. Es ist also nur der Originalton vorhanden. Auch kann man hier auf keine Untertitel zurückgreifen, denn es sind keine vorhanden. Hierfür sind also gute Englisch-Kenntnisse erforderlich, vor allem was den amerikanischen Akzent betrifft. Aber der Film an sich ist gut, wenn auch nicht der Beste aller Elvis-Filme. Die Lieder, die hier zu hören sind, stammen alle aus dem älteren Repertoire, denn es wurden in diesem Film keine (damals) neuen Lieder verwendet. So war z.B. "Long Lonely Highgway", am Anfang zu hören, zuvor als Bonus-Song auf der LP "Kissin' Cousins" erschienen, und das Lied am Ende, "Slowly but Surely" war ebenfalls ein Bonus-Song, der zuvor auf der LP "Fun In Acapulco" erschienen ist. Die anderen Lieder waren zwar keine Bonus-Songs, doch waren sie zuvor zwischen 1960 und 1963 auf anderen LP's erschienen.

この映画例によりプレスリー映画というべきものですが、当時ファンが選んだ曲を映画のなかで披露されていますが、今聞いても良い曲ばかりです。

"Tickle Me" (1965) è uno dei film meno noti di Elvis Presley, oscenamente titolato "Per un pugno di donne" in italiano, sull'onda del successo di "Per un pugno di dollari" (1964). Non è un western, ma una commedia ambientata in un dude-ranch (un ranch turistico), in cui il solito Elvis tombeur des femmes/rodeista/canterino si trova invischiato nella caccia a un tesoro. Non ho trovato edizioni doppiate, ma meglio così, perché il film è inteso come una raffica di battute e non so come le abbiano tradotte. I dialoghi sono degli autori dei Three Stooges, e si sente: il clima è quello, comicità proto-demenziale. Canzoni tutte "d'annata", già note, infilate qui e là, spesso a forza. Godibilissimo per gli appassionati di Elvis.
