Great camera for Pinball streaming
I'm using this camera for pinball streaming, specifically as a playfield camera. It does a reasonably good job in various (mostly low) lighting conditions, handles the high-speed motion of the pinball with no issues (global shutter is great for this!), and handles the playfield lighting really well. 1/4" mount on the bottom of the camera made attaching it to my equipment a breeze. May swap out the included wide FOV M12 lens for something a bit tighter - the included lens quality is good, but being so wide, it does have to be relatively close to the playfield which could get in the way for taller players. Works just fine with OBS running on Fedora 42, no finagling needed to get it to work.

A serviceable 1080p video camera
I run a piece of software on my Raspberry Pi 4B called OctoPrint. It is a server application that sits in front of a 3D printer and allows the user to send print jobs without having to keep the 3D printer physically connected to a PC. It also allows you to monitor your print jobs via a USB-connected camera. Previously, I used a Logitech C270 webcam for this purpose, and while it was a workable solution, its video quality wasn't quite up to my standards. After confirming that some of ELP's other cameras were compatible with OctoPrint's video streaming feature, I decided to take a chance on this camera. Sure enough, as soon as I plugged the camera in, its image appeared on OctoPrint's Control tab. How's that for an easy upgrade? The cube-ish exterior of this camera is constructed from aluminum and is quite compact (42mm x 42mm x 36mm). Physically, it seems well made. The base offers a standard 1/4-20 socket for use with tripods, stands, magic arms and other photographic hardware. A 9.9ft USB-A cable is included and comes in pigtail + extension form, with a 5-pin round connector joining the two sections. An obvious advantage to this arrangement is that you could get a shorter extension if you decide that the included one is too long. Just be sure that you don't damage the pigtail, as it is hardwired and not easily replaced. The 1080p picture (1920x1080) is reasonably sharp and looks pretty good. There was initially some noticeable banding, but I ultimately discovered the cause: camera-streamer was running the camera at 1280x720 and 15 frames per second. Given that the camera is capable of 1920x1080 and 90 fps, I configured it for1920x1080 and 60 fps and called it good. Now it looks great. The field of view is a very wide 110°. This qualifies as "ultra wide angle" in the parlance of photography and videography. Positioned roughly one inch from the front corner of my 3D printer's centered 300mm x 300mm bed, the camera easily catches the entire bed and gantry. Distortion is not terrible, although it is present at the corners (as expected). The camera has an M12 lens mount, which might be useful to you if you find that the included ultra wide angle lens is just too wide for your application. In fact, I am already considering getting a lens with a shorter focal length so that I can pull the camera back a bit from the printer bed (it is currently blocking the printer control panel). This is a pretty good camera that is well suited to the purpose for which I chose it. It is priced on the high side, but not outrageously so. Recommended.

ELP came through
Normally I'm a huge fan of ELP USB cameras but this one is a dud. The output is constantly stuttering and jumping around. I have tried it on Linux, Windows, and Mac and the results are the same so it's nothing to do with driver levels in my system. I don't know if this is bad QA or not since this is the first of this model that I've ever used but I'm seriously not impressed and would tell you straight up to avoid this model until they fix the bugs! I am not happy with it at all. -Update As you can see from my rather trashing review, I had a dud camera, but ELP jumped right on it and sent me a replacement inside the same week. The new camera is the ELP I know and love. It works fantastic! The resolution is perfect for my 3d printer use case and the small box the camera is housed in fits nicely inside the rails of several of my printers. So now that I have a functional unit I can tell you that ELP produces great stuff. I'm not taking down the initial review portion because let's be honest, even great vendors have duds from time to time. What matters is that they dealt with the problem quickly and got me up and running without any hassle. Great to work with and they continue to win my business as a vendor.

Excellent quality
I LOVE this camera. I read through some reviews to get a feel of what to look for with this camera. I am using it for Zoom/Teams since I am not the biggest fan of my previous camera. This camera is amazing! It has a low distortion fish eye lens. Or at least that's what I think it is. It really takes in a whole room so it is not only perfect for zoom/teams, it is also a perfect security camera. I will be honest, the app it provides is the WORST. I just use "Camera" on my Windows 10 PC to see the quality. It is outstanding with no flickering. Really well made and durable. I put it on a mic stand and the screw on the bottom fits perfectly

using this camera for Monitoring 3d Printer
I am using this camera with prusa connect to monitor my MK4. I have it hooked up to a Raspberry Pi and connected to prusa connect threw the browser. It is in side my enclosure which reaches 38 to 40 degrees when printing. The camera shows no signs of being affected by the heat. The picture comes in clear at wide range of distances. There was no need to focus the camera the resolution is outstanding. Very happy with this camera. Might get another for my mini.

ELP Global Shutter USB Camera Wide Angle Webcam for Computer 1080P 90fps
I got this to monitor my 3D printer which is enclosed in a case. This was easy to mount and failry easy to hook up to my Raspberry Pi 5. It has a good picture quality. The wide angle helps me see almost everything inside the case. The case has LED strip lighting so everything is easy to see and is super clear so i can catch those failed prints early and minimize waste. I might get another one for another RPi5 to setup as a security type camera since its pretty easy to use and setup along with the video quality.
