It did work takes a little wait time.
It didn't really seem like it helped at first so I put another dose in and the next day it was very hot the leak was much more obvious that it had slowed down by the end of the week the leak is no more in my fountain base on the side. I think it being in the upper 90's helped it set quicker the first day I added it was a little cooler. Definitely had my doubts considering I had already put a painted on masonry product that actually did very little and over a day ended up leaking more. I also bought that on Amazon. This stuff is like a liquid silicone I got it on my fingers and rubbed it together and it dried instantly and crumbled. So it gets into the nooks and eventually seals it up on account it's not some sort of big hole my problem was more of water seeping out of the fountain base. It did work which I was surprised actually for how little was used and the cost now I have plenty for other things in the future.

Did not work
Had 2 bottles , used 1. 1/2 never worked. Made a test mock up to see how it would stop a tiny leak in a pipe , it started to slow the leak but over a 24 hr period it did not stop the leak and it never hardened up, it basically got pushed out by the water. Was not a very thick solution, may have been a defective batch. Also just put some out on a plate to test to see how it would harden up, over 48 hrs was still gooey, can’t see how this would ever harden when on one side of the leak there is water liquid!

Definitely worked, but I think the leak is back
Super easy to use, and we stopped losing water the day we used it. Two problems I had: First, check the ingredients before you use it and then swim. I swam 2 days later, and I got hives almost immediately. So most likely silicone is one of the ingredients (or one of my other allergies). That’s no big deal for most people without silly allergies. :) Second, I think the leak is back after a month or so. So it’s a great temporary fix, and it’s possible that this water loss is more related to the Florida heat than the leak. But it was SO much less expensive than a real leak repair, so I gave it 4 stars. Overall, it’s good, not perfect.

This product stopped a leak, twice.
This spring, I filled my pool knowing I'd need to backwash a lot upon opening. But, when I pulled the cover back, the water line was down 6-8". Since all returns and intakes were still plugged from the winter, I knew it was the bottom drain. (EEKS!) 33 yr. old built in pool, approx 8' to bottom drain. This is the 2nd time I've used this product. Both times it has worked. If not for this product I would have had to close the bottom drain, likely causing poor circulation and perhaps a dirty pool. I highly recommend it!!

Kinda doe/doesn’t work
I usually write a 1 or a 5 star review on things. This product is an exception. To get right to the point: This stuff may or not have made a small difference , but my leak persists.!! You are better off buying pool putty and applying it around where your skinner meets the pool. Almost half the price and worked better !

Worked for leaking hot tub
This worked for my leaking hot tub. I've got mice that chew on my hot tub somewhere that I can't see and it leaks from the bottom. This has been going on for a while now. I've normally used Marlag Fix a Leak sealer in the past, which also worked. But since this was cheaper than that, I decided to give this a try. And it worked. And instead of using 16oz of Fix a Leak, I only used 2 ounces of this stuff (directions say 1 oz, but I wanted to play it safe) and it sealed up the leak right away. And I don't have to drain the tub with this like I do with Fix a Leak. I'm a happy camper. Now, to deal with the mice....

Worked well
Closing my pool noticed small leaks and ordered this material. Leaks are sealed and have remained sealed for 2 weeks. Time will tell how well they remain sealed.

Doesn't work
Had a leak detection service confirm that leak was in a return line. Purchased this product and followed instructions on the product label as recommended. Leak is 5/8" in 24 hours. Ran the pump on Bi-Pass for 12 hours (8 hours minimum recommended) then ran the pump on Filter for 24 hours. Checked water level and it had dropped, as usual, 5/8". Ran on Filter for additional 24 hours, checked water level and it had dropped another 5/8". I have 2 friends and a pool maintenance company advise me not to buy this product but foolishly did not heed their advice. Do yourself a favor, save yourself some money and avoid this product.
