Nice little light.
I bought this light as a quick, just-in-case flashlight. I plugged it into an empty port on my usb hub, used the magnet to stick it underneath my desk out of the way, and pretty much haven't used it since I got it. Pros: * Super bright on the brightest setting. I mean, shield your eyes bright. * The light has an excellent distance. * There's 4 brightness levels. * It has a clip similar to a pen and will clip on the outside of your pocket or wherever for hands free usage. * There's a red light that flashes, and also flashes "SOS" * And finally, the magnet. It's a little underpowered, but it will support itself. Cons: * Battery life could be better. * Magnet could be stronger. * They send along this weird, empty, plastic box, for what I don't know. Seems like they could keep that box and maybe lower the price. Summary: For what I intend to use this light for, which is essentially power outages, it's fine. I would definitely recommend it for that, but anything more extreme, maybe something different.

Fantastic mini-light
Fantastic secondary light. I use an Emisar D4S as a primary light, with the Fenix LD15R as a secondary. The perpendicular light clips really nicely onto a chest rig or chest pocket and give you hands-free illumination. The magnet on the tail cap is a fantastic feature if you're in a working environment where you can stick it to something like machinery or a car. The red light feature is a nice touch, but has limited use. I still appreciate having it though. The USB rechargeable plug is nice for people that don't have Li-ion chargers, but if you use your flashlight a lot I would recommend getting a charger and some extra batteries. If you need a charger or extra batteries, check out Mountain Electronics (mtnelectronics.com).

Great flashlight
This was a wish from my son and I got it for him for his birthday. He was so excited to use it he couldn't wait to use it. The size is great, the magnet was a great add on, the battery holds it's charge and the light is great! He said it is great and loves the quality of it. It works great too.

Handy, Compact, Bright and neat settings!!
It has a magnet on the end for attaching to metal surfaces. It can clip on to a shirt pocket, pant pocket and even a baseball cap for your illuminating pleasure. Multiple settings for dim to explosive LED brightness!! In pitch black this will light up the darkness in a 20-30 foot area. It also has a stationary as well pulsating Red light for special occasions. ******Warning********* the outer metal casing will become warm or even hot if the lamp is on for 5 to 10 minutes. I had the full brightness set on for over ten minutes and that thing was too hot to handle. Great little lamp though I will recommend it to anyone looking to see the light!!

Small, Well Built, Super Bright
I purchased this light to use at work, on a firefighter's radio strap, to provide hands free light. I've been using it for about 3 months and so far, love it. First, the construction of the light. I love the size of the light. It's small, but big enough to hold in your hand if need be. It's the perfect size for my radio strap as it doesn't stick out too much and doesn't snag on anything. The clip seems very strong, and hasn't fallen off of the strap yet. The light also feels good in the hand, it doesn't feel cheap, it's well constructed. The brightness/modes. The light has multiple modes to choose from, including two red modes. The red comes in very handy, especially in dark situations when preserving night vision is a factor, to read maps, or just to read patient ID cards and medications, which is my use for it. The brightest white light mode is very, and sometimes too bright. The medium and dimmest modes are also helpful and effective. I did notice that the light has a yellower hue, this doesn't effect performance for me at all, however. Battery life. In my using the light, the battery only completely died on me once, and that was after hours of continuous use (accidentally being left on, to be frank). You can always check the battery life by single clicking the power switch, which is indicated via colored LED's. The light is chargeable via a micro USB cable, which is included in the box. Final impressions. Simply put, I am very impressed with the light, it's bright, well built, and the battery lasts a long time. Coworkers are already asking where they can get one. Although it's a bit pricey for a small package, it's illumination capabilities are surprising. Good Investment, would buy again.

Powerful little light and unique projection angle makes for unparalleled EDC
The beam from this light is softer than some of the other LED offerings, and for what I'm using it for, that's perfect. The versatility of this light is fantastic. Three lumen low power mode doesn't blind you in the dark, and the red-light option further protects night vision -- it DOES default to white and whatever the last selected output level was, but you can turn it on with your hand over the lens then press and hold to get to the red mode without destroying your night vision. Turbo mode puts out a lot of light, even if the overall lumens are lower than the similar-sized PD25R. And the magnetic end cap means you can stick the light to any ferrous surface and it'll stay put. I'm a woodturner and have found it does a great job sitting on the ways of the lathe and shining up in to the bowl as I'm turning, giving me great visibility in a place that's traditionally hard to see. While it does have a two-way clip, the right angle lens means it's not ideal for mounting on a cap as it'll be facing the wrong direction. It would probably work in a headband-style headlamp mount though.
