Does this product contain lead, on the package it says, "consuming this product can expose you to lead"?

You may have seen a warning on some ProSupps products have left you concerned about what you may be ingesting. We get it and want to provide you with some background to help put your mind at ease. This is a “Prop 65 warning”, which is required by the state of California and can be found on most products from children’s toys to produce and coffee. Prop 65 is a law that seeks to protect consumers—using warning statements—from chemicals that (according to California) may cause cancer or be harmful to reproductive health. Prop 65 sets incredibly strict rules regarding the potential presence of certain chemicals in consumer products. Since becoming law in 1986 the list has ballooned to around 900 different chemicals. Many of these have yet to show harm to humans…in many cases, simply showing harm in animal testing is enough to get it on the list. The law then requires any company doing business in California to tell consumers that a Prop 65 chemical is in a product by adding a warning like the one we talked about earlier. This puts top companies in a tough spot because this well-intentioned law is to protect folks from things like synthetic/man-made compounds that show up in things like pesticides, insecticides, and agrichemicals. However, many of substances on the Prop 65 list—such as lead and cadmium—are found in even the cleanest, safest soils in the world. The amounts are hundreds of times lower than the levels set by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and World Health Organization (WHO). Using lead as an example, a product must include a lead warning if it has 0.5mcg of lead. By contrast, the FDA calculated a “provisional” total tolerable intake of 75mcg of lead/day. That means that up to 75mcg can safely be consumed by adults every day! That’s 150 times greater than the amount that triggers a Prop 65 warning in California Based on these extremely rigid guidelines, food and supplement companies—ProSupps included—require these warnings on product labeling, even though our products are extremely safe and healthier than most of the packaged foods in grocery stores that likely won’t have the same warning. So why don’t similar products have the same warning? Until August of 2018, enforcement of the Prop 65 warnings was relatively inconsistent. Inconsistent enforcement explains why some products have the warnings and nearly identical products do not. It’s important to remember that a lack of warnings does not necessarily mean that the products is free of the same substances at similar levels. Some companies simply take the risk and are probably just counting down the days till they face a lawsuit because they don’t include a Prop 65 warning. Worst thing I ever tasted

I really wanted to like this cause it has a lot of protein and collagen so I’m sure the benefits are great, but unless I got a bad batch which I can’t even return or exchange, It taste like those really gross vitamins that smell bad and leave a nasty taste after popping them… but imagine chewing those up with a little nasty flavored syrup mixed in. The only reason it deserves a star is cause of the protein amount: I regret trying to find a cheaper version of the popular spoiled—child one that actually tastes decent enough for me to take.

Hard to get down

This is hard to get down. I got the orange flavor because other reviews said it was the better flavor. It is very sweet and not tasty at all. This tastes like really bad medicine thats over sweetened to help hide a horrible flavor. It does not come with a measuring cup. To be honest, this will probably end up in the trash, my older kids won’t even help with it.

I feel like this changed my life.

This stuff changed my life. I had my leg severely broke and needed a rod and screws in my leg. I always had knee pain and aches right before it rained. I started going to the gym and got in pretty good shape minus my legs because I always skipped leg day because of the pain. Ever since I started taking this I literally have no pain in my leg. I'm definitely not saying this is some kind of miracle cure but it definitely opened a door for me and subsided a relentless pain and allowing me to start doing leg day. Plus I feel like my beard is getting thicker lol.

Product label says: “Consuming this product can lead to cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm”!!! This information is not shared on the page. As this is a US product, according to California law they have to put this warning if it contains harmful chemicals. Yet the company hides this information before purchasing!!! Nobody should consume products that are known to be harmful for our health. I am in shock! I get a refund from Amazon, and now I throw it away. Be careful!
