5.5 inch Articulating Arm

I gotta say, I love SmallRig's stuff. Have lots of it for my camera gear. This Magic Arm didn't get used on my camera, though. I instead used it to mount to a strong suction cup and hold up my iPhone (with a Magsafe magnet attached at the end) and it's near perfect. The ARRI pin locators are great. It locks down solid and even with just 7" reach, it's worked really well in my application. Near-perfect design. Just wish they have an 11" version that maybe was just a tad more expensive. Would have bought it. For a magic arm, it's a great value from a company like SmallRig. There's lots of other magic arms out there but I'm pretty price-conscious. Glad I found an item like this from SmallRig. SmallRig's products are durable, long-lasting accessories and the company stands behind their products. Save the headache with off-brands and stick with well-known companies like SmallRig.

I have a drawer full of these...all brands and models. I probably will never use them after discovering this particular model. It's ridiculously STRONK. No sagging and I trust them so much I abuse them with loads that would make most gaffers wince. Absolutely fantastic product...I had come come here and leave a review.

I use these for positioning ribbon mics on large industrial boom stands. Great quality and the work as expected. Need adapters for the threads but those are cheap.

Perfect field monitor mount for my camera cage. It is small, the hold is very strong, and it can be maneuvered into many different positions depending on how you want your field monitor mounted.

works as advertised. it holds my atomos w no problem. the joints do not move but the only problem is to make sure ur weight is towards the right side(clockwise) to ur main screw. otherwise the screws will get lose and cause ur set up to(whatever its holding) move. u can see it in the picture that I have it set up so the weight itself tightens the screw. Hope this review helps.

Love this product. The quality of the product feels good. Ease to use. Light and small, perfect.

Great gear for my videography

It’s probably been like 4 years and the only issues has been the tiny gum around it. It came off. But hey, I’ve put this thing through hell. And still works perfect.

I primarily use it to mount a monitor to my camera cage and its robust build quality immediately instilled confidence. The all metal construction feels incredibly solid and the single tightening knob locks everything down securely. I never worry about my monitor shifting or drooping during shoots. The 360 degree ball heads on both ends provide a wide range of articulation allowing me to position the monitor exactly where I need it. The spring loaded pins are a nice touch ensuring a snug and secure connection to my equipment. The nonslip design on the ball heads really does make a difference further enhancing stability. I have subjected it to a fair amount of use over the past few months and it shows no signs of wear or loosening.
