Perfect for me
I retired as a news shooter for ABC TV, and our cameras had Canon lenses with a wrist strap arrangement. The right hand controled the lens length and start/stop record button. Also, pretty much supported the entire ENG camera as well. The hand strap was essential for me to operate the camera. (Left hand controls the iris (f-stop). I always dislike the neck straps on my Canon still cameras, and even though many pro still shooters manage to carry the camera by the neck strap, off their shoulder, I never felt safe doing that. That's when I found Herringbone hand straps. WIth a Herringbone, it is possible to support the camera with one hand, and no neck strap. This does not work if you are a pro news shooter using two camera, of course. But for one camera, I like it. I can run all around holding the camera with one hand. A large lens requires a bit of diligence, but it works unless it's a 400mm f2.8 or something. So I have Herringbones on my Canon still cameras that are not DX1's. My DX1 won't work with this hand strap, and you can see why (two grips, 90 degrees apart). But for my R5 or 5D MKIV, a Herringbone is perfect. Now, however, it's tough to find a Herringbone. ( I found a supplier, however). But I wanted to try this cheap; hand strap. I am happy to report that this Newer strap is PERFECT. Except for the material, I like it in every way. The tripod screw adapter has an ARCA plate, and the fit is good. (Don't care for the supplied hand screwdriver built into the plate, but that's inconsequential). Even my Canon lenses did not have leather straps, but the same pleather that this is made of. They lasted and endured quite well in professional service, day in and day out, in all sorts of conditions. So buy this $18 strap, if you can't find the $50 Herringbone. I'm not revealing my supplier for Herringbones, since they seem to be no longer making them.

Very good camera strap
I really can't give an honest review because I purchased it I used it maybe three times.. and someone broke into my car and stole my camera..

Works well for Pentax
I've used this wrist strap on a Pentax K10D, K5 MkII, and a K3. I don't think it's real leather, but it's a good quality synthetic. I have a similar higher end (more expensive) wrist strap, and I would say that functionally it's no different at all. And I have no reason to doubt this Neewer strap will last just as long.

Uncomfortable
Tried this on my Sony A7iv and it was super uncomfortable. Impossible to get it lined up to hold it properly. Even after getting it somewhat close, it hurts my hand after 30 seconds of holding the camera. Maybe it'll work with other cameras but it definitely will not with the Sony A7 line. Will be returning this now

Built in tool
Arca compatible bottom plate that accommodates and hand grip strap. Works well on my Panasonic Lumix G85 with camera cage. Solid plate with clean and smooth edges and consistent finish. Comes with a mini flathead tool which sits in a magnetized slot in the plate as a bonus, now stays on the cage.

Nice, a little small
Nice strap for ladies. Not so much for men. The straps are short and makes for a tighter grip that I wanted. My male hands are about average in size. This would be unusable for a man with really large hands. As you can see in the photo I have the straps adjusted as far out as I feel comfortable with.

A nice strap for my camera grip, but I wish it was quick detatchable.
I use another brands grip strap on one of my cameras and needed another one for a 2nd camera that I have, so decided to try this Neewer wrist strap this time. It's actually a pretty nice strap, but there are a few things I feel could be a little bit better. First, my other one has some connectors that make it quick detachable if need be, and I do use this function from time to time. This one, however, is not quick detachable, so you have to basically leave it on once you install it. I like that this comes with an Arca Swiss plate, and that the plate also has a magnetic tool that comes with it to tighten the screw. The buckles are plastic, however, which shouldn't be a problem, but I noticed the ones from my other brand are metal, for longevity and durability. All that said, this was cheaper than my other one, and accomplishes the exact same thing, that being a more secure way to hold my camera with one hand, so this was definitely still worth the purchase.

The strap is way too short. On the Zf, even at full extension of both ends of the strap there's no way of reaching round to fire the shutter.

Today I am reviewing the NEEWER Camera Wrist Strap with 1/4" Arca Type Quick Release Plate. I found this easy to install on my DSLR type camera. I like the fact that the 1/4 screw has a magnetic screwdriver on the bottom of the Arca plate. I typically have the Arca rails running front to back on the camera but this plate has the wrist strap loop oriented so it runs side to side. Not a deal breaker just not what I’m used to and understand why it done that way. Strap adjustment is fairly easy to do and can adjust from both ends of the strap to get a real custom and comfortable fit. The wrist strap is made out of the typical nylon that all camera straps are made from so it’s going to lat a very long time. The area that covers the hand is a padded vinyl which is to be expected. The one thing I found is that the strap has a bit of distance to travel from the Arca plate across the bottom of the camera. It’s not ideal and I’m not sure if a bar or plate that extends closer to the side where the hand grip of the camera would help? I can see the strap slipping to front side or back side of the camera. I think it’s okay but not perfect but if you like to have a secure grip on your camera this will do.

My camera has a neck strap, but I'm constantly paranoid about using it, especially in crowds. So I got this basically as an anti-anxiety aid. It's excellent, and I'm already feeling a lot less anxious about dropping the camera. It's super easy to attach - just screw it into the standard socket at the bottom of the camera (ANY camera), and voila! The wrist strap is thick and comfortable, and can be tightened and loosened with one hand. It even looks kind of cute on the wrist! I appreciate the manufacturer's decision to make it pretty in addition to functional. I haven't really tested how much weight it can handle, but it sure has no problem with my big camera. All my other cameras and selfie sticks are much lighter, so I know it will be able to handle all of those as well. The only complaint I have is that I can't figure out the "quick release" in the item description. The screw is definitely not "quick release" and shouldn't be: it has to be unscrewed from the camera, which takes a few seconds, and you sure don't want it to snap off randomly. Is it referring to the little wrist strap tightener clip? It's a mystery. But it's a mystery that does not require a solution, since the thing works great as it is.

The strap is well-made, and the built quality is excellent. But, for me, this is not the best option. To have a stable setting, I must install the plate to the right, which blocks my battery door. If I place it to the left, I lose some stability. Then, there is the top attachment, since I use a detachable strap, this gets a bit harder to install, and the strap is big for my camera. Overall, a good idea, but not so good for me.
