Logitech Z533 multimedia speaker system black - with EU Plug

The sound off these tiny speakers and the subwoofer is incredible, I had to reduce the bass to stop the floor vibrating, love it :-)

Replacement for my last Logitech speakers which survived 3 house moves over 9 years until I broke them. Exceptional sound quality and a great size which doesn’t get in the way. Very happy

This review is for the Logitech Z533 PC speakers ordered late Dec 2022 and received in early Jan 2023. It's a day one review, if anything changes I'll update later. The Z533 is mostly good. The sound quality is decent, it's very loud and it doesn't distort easily. (I'll probably never use full volume myself). There are no hisses pops or crackles when nothing is playing and the volume knob works very well. Here are a few things to mention which you may or may not be interested in but are worth a mention: The volume knob has no press to mute, you will need to rotate it anti-clockwise for mute, which is no problem for me. On the volume knob there is a headphone input and an Aux input. Once analogue headphones are inserted, their volume is not controlled by the volume knob but by the computer. Also the Aux in is not an extra one but the main connection from the Computer to the speaker system. Unlike previous Logitech PC speakers, there is no base control on the main speaker, its on the volume knob instead. There is an LED light on the volume knob which is on whenever the speakers are on. A full turn to the left not only turns the volume all the way down but turns off the speakers and therefore the LED light. It would have been nice if there was an option to turn the LED off. So the volume knob is not just a volume knob, in fact the speakers won't work without it and it's cable is built in and non-replaceable, so if the dog chews the cable or something else happens to it you'll be throwing the speakers away. It arrives with an EU two pin (non fused) plug. If you chop it off you will void the warranty and if you use a shaver style adapter that's not very safe. I reccomend an EU to UK plug adapter sold on Amazon. One screw opens it up and you insert the whole EU plug inside turning it into a UK plug that looks like a UK plug complete with fuse. Lastly, and for me an important issue, the two little mid range speakers have no covers on them so the actual speaker is on display at all times. This may look trendy (not in my view) but it leaves the speakers ready to be poked into at any time, and will become dusty as well. So overall a good system, I would have liked at very least to have a plug in volume knob so it could be replaced if necessary, and covers on the speakers. There is a Bluetooth version of these speakers, so you may want to consider those as well, but I prefer wired, since I won't be moving them around, and once installed you can forget about the wires which give a superior and more reliable connection. The speakers really look good in person with gold chrome rings. The audio is really good for gaming, work and movies. Goes well with my overall setup. The best part is the audio module that I can use to adjust base, volume and plug in headphones when necessary.

Excellent delivery service from Amazon as usual by our experiance. Very dissapointed in this product though. Unpacking, all looked good athough initial impression of the satelite speakers was that they felt cheap. The sub was looking solid however as was the remote volume control. Easy to put together, iritating that as others have said this really should NOT come with a non UK plug. Switched on and an imediate hiss was apparant. OK so this will get lost when we play some music. Tried some sample basic tracks from Simon and Garfunkel and Robbie Williams. Oh dear oh dear! The desktop satelite speakers sounded like they felt, cheap, tinny sound with no depth. Turning up the base on the sub would never help with total lack of mid range. I have on old 2.1 Creative set up and went to compare just in case it was me and it was like chalk and cheese. So very dissapointed. Packed and returned straight away. I would definitely not recommend, one should be able to do much better than this. Sorry

Last set of logitech speakers lasted TEN YEARS! And that was with moving house, being up-rooted for lan parties and travels, and being taken to the building site for work. These new ones are really, really good. Only complaint is that i don't like the little volume/interface box, as I hvae a feeling that'll be the bit that's gonna get broken. But the sound is awesome and they look really cool. Well done Logitech. Big up the speaker assembly machine overseers!

Bon, ce commentaire va répondre a vos crainte car je vois que dans les autres commentaire sa dit vraiment n'importe quoi, alors je vais vous répondre en tant que joueur, amateur de musique et beatmaker, pour commencer, non on entends ni trop, ni pas assez les basses tout simplement car on peut régler directement l'intensité des basses par le contrôleur, donc moi je le règle au millieu c'est très bien ainsi, ensuite les basses bien sur sont niquel, on peut entendre les basses les plus profondes bref pour ceux qui adore les basses comme moi, vous serez largement servi, surtout avec la puissance, c'est très largement suffisant et très puissant. Ensuite j'ai vu que certaines personne entendaient des grésillement, alors soit il y a plein de cas isolé et donc je suis très chanceux, soit ils y connaissent vraiment rien du tout a leur produit, en gros il y a un contrôleur de volume qui permets du coup de gérer le volume des enceintes mais aussi de couper totalement le son après un click en le baissant vraiment a fond, a se moment là, les enceintes sont littéralement comme éteinte donc non 0 problème de grésillement. Ensuite le design est juste magnifique donc couleurs noir et or et au niveau visuelle ça fais plaisir a voir, ensuite pour l'installation c'est extrêmement facile, suffit juste juste de brancher les 2 enceintes au caisson et de branché le caisson a l'électricité et ensuite de le relier par une prise jack au PC ou si non pour ceux qui veulent y'a la possibilité de branché en RCA, par contre les câbles RCA sont pas fournis contrairement au jack. En terme de point négatif j'ai rien trouvé, les enceintes sont allés au delà de mes attentes. Donc pour ceux qui se demandent, il vaut totalement sont prix et surtout si vous doutez de la qualité, foncé vous le regretterez pas. Juste un dernier point pour le contrôle a distance il faut un accessoire en plus or du produit donc, qui permet de pouvoir contrôler a distance depuis son téléphone en Bluetooth, après je sais pas se que ça vaut j'ai juste un peu vu de loin l'autre produit.

I have the grandpa model from which this model is descended. It's incredible. The volume control is on a separate cable which might freak out some ppl. Fear not. Crank it up!

CARATTERISTICHE: Il sistema multimediale 2.1 Logitech Z533 è composto da due casse ed un subwoofer. La potenza di picco è 120W RMS, mentre la potenza nominale è di 60W (15W + 15W = casse e 30W = subwoofer.). Le due casse sono realizzate in un bel nero satinato amante della polvere. Nella parte posteriore del subwoofer sono presenti i vari ingressi: 1 jack 3,5 per il collegamento al PC, telefono... attraverso il cavo in dotazione. 2 RCA per il collegamento delle casse 2 RCA per il collegamento di console, TV... 1 cavo alimentazione precollegato 1 cavo diretto a una manopola di controllo. Questa molto bella esteticamente e sopratutto funzionale. Permette il controllo di volume, accensione spegnimento, bassi. Sul lato destro sono posizionati due jack in entrata: il primo permette il collegamento di cuffie sempre gestite attraverso la manopola, il secondo è un'entrata AUX. SUONO: Il suono di questo sistema è ottimo. Il volume è abbastanza elevato per qualsiasi utilizzo domestico e la regolazione dei bassi permette di equilibrare maggiormente le frequenze. La prova è stata effettuata con la scheda audio integrata del PC, Realtek ALC1150, e posso constatare che il suono non storce nemmeno ad alto volume. Questo sistema 2.1 mi ha pienamente convinto, il prezzo è perfetto per la qualità offerta. BAD THINGS: In caso di mancata riproduzione le casse emettono un fruscio fastidioso udibile anche a bassissimo volume. Manca uscita ottica

Tenia unos altavoces tambien 2.1 logitech que se me quedaban cortos (me costaron 20 euros hace 6 o 7 años) y queria cambiarlos. Al principio pense en un 2.0, y compre unos trust,... mala eleccion, la calidad de sonido muy inferior a mis antiguos logitech, y a pesar de que el sonido era mucho mas potente, distorsionaba al aumentar el volumen, asi que decidi volver a los logitech y darme un capricho con otros 2.1 mejores, mi mejor decision. Ya al tener la caja, se nota en el peso, son altavoces de calidad, 120W divididos entre 60 el subwoofer y 60 los satelites, la calidad de sonido es fantastica, se escucha genial y no distorsiona ni poniéndolo al tope, aunque he de decir que lo puse al tope 5 seg porque me quedaba sordo con el volumen. La rueda del volumen es muy acertada y comoda, se enciende y apaga con esa rueda, y tiene entrada auxiliar para otro dispositivo, este tiene la misma calidad de sonido que el principal por si alguien tiene dudas. Al subwoofer te puedes conectar mediante cable auxiliar como toda la vida (asi lo tengo yo a mi ordenador) o con el tipico RCA, que NO esta incluido en la caja, a diferencia del aux que si viene. Resumen: Pros: -Calidad Logitech, en mi experiencia los mejores. -Rueda volumen, muy comoda, acertado diseño. -Altavoces, estetica buena. -Entrada auxiliar. Contras: -RCA no incuido. -Cables alimentacion y mando del subwoofer no extraibles, ayudaria un poco a la hora de montarlo poder desmontar ese cableado. Los contras no empañan un producto asi, al final para mi lo que pesa es la calidad de sonido, y facilidad de manejo, y ahi tiene un 10.
