Well Worth The Money On My 2014 5.7 Durango
After a couple months of having it in my cart on Amazon I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a pedal Commander for my Durango. I purchased the one with the Bluetooth option, not because I thought I would need that option but because the regular non-Bluetooth was no longer available. Install: Extremely easy, took about a minute. Unlocked my D then put the keys back in the house. Not sure why the directions tell you to do this but they do so I did it. Unhook the wire from the top of the gas pedal, hook the pedal Commander in line between the wire and the pedal, super easy. Then I fished the wire under the center console so it is right next to the driver's seat. Total time for install: under 5 minutes Setup: First download the pedal Commander app. Just search in the app store (or Android equivalent) and download. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone, open the app and start your D. The app will ask for the pedal Commander serial number. It's printed on the back of the Pedal Commander. Type it in, wait a second until the app links with the Commander, then you will see a screen where you can pick the level you want to use. Click connect and your phone is linked up and ready to use to change your settings (or of course you can just use the physical button on the pedal Commander and skip all the Bluetooth setup) Driving: I started off with it set to sort sport +2 just because I had heard a couple people running them on other vehicles saying this was a good setting. Pulled out of my driveway and could immediately tell a difference. There was no longer any throttle lag when you push the pedal. You touch the pedal and the vehicle goes; in fact at the sport +2 setting it was going a little too much for me. So what I did is I would drive around a little, then change the setting on the app then drive around some more. You can change the setting on the fly, no need to turn car off, or even stop to change the setting )although I wouldn't recommend messing with settings while the vehicle is in motion). After some driving around and messing with settings I settled on City+4 as the one I liked the most. Great throttle response but not too touchy to use in traffic like I sat in for work this morning. Overall: This item does what it says it does, it removes all throttle lag in the pedal. You touch the pedal and the vehicle goes. Install is very easy and fast. User interface on both the device and the app are very straight forward and easy to use. But most importantly the pedal Commander makes driving the D more fun. No more hitting the pedal and waiting for it to respond. Now you hit the pedal and this thing goes. Personally, it was money well spent in my eyes because it made driving my D more enjoyable than before.

Really improves the 'feel' of driving
I have a 2011 Dodge Charger AWD R/T. The stock pedal defaults to slow acceleration unless you mash the pedal down like you are trying to crush a potato under your foot. This makes it hard to drive smoothly and feels crappy. With the pedal commander (set to sport +2) it responds like a sports car should with smooth linear acceleration causing the transmission to shift smoothly and keep you in the power band. It feels more like my old Audi S4 now. I believe it is the best upgrade you can buy and certainly better than aftermarket air filters or anything like that. Mpg update. On sport 2+ I get 13 mpg driving in city traffic. On economy +2 on a long highway trip I get 25 mpg driving smoothly.

Great product!
This works 100% as advertised on my 2016 Charger R/T. Very quick and easy to install. The difference is noticeable immediately! I used some 3m vhb tape instead of the Velcro patch included and it holds up really well! The Velcro adhesive didn't last very long on these hot days. This product makes the car feel like it should!!

Very Impressed!
Just slapped this baby on my boosted WK2 with the 345 hemi and I'm very impressed. As other's have stated, it doesn't add power (not sure why anyone would assume a throttle controller would add power), but what it does do is give you whatever power and torque your vehicle does have immediately and on demand! It, in a sense, is waking up all my other mods (and my rig has quite a few)! I'm pretty sure the coding for Sport+4 reads "make car smash into other cars when going slow"... Be careful gear heads! UPDATE Still loving this thing after a few weeks. I also wanted to add this seems to have resolved the IAT lightning bolt issue you get intermittently with hellcat/aftermarket throttle bodies.

For the Dodge Charger HEMI 5.7, this is a MUST have upgrade option
MY personal opinion on the Pedal Commander, fitted to a 2012 Dodge Charger R/T Does it work? Does it really take the lag out of the, 'Pedal To The Metal - Power To Go', issue? Can you tell the difference? Simply put? OH HELL YES YOU CAN 👍😁👍 If you have the 5.7 Hemi, fitted with the Sport Mode, you should already know the differences between Normal, and Sport modes. The Pedal Commander takes things up a notch further, and truly does give you the "Fun Factor Feelings", by giving you what the Hemi has to offer in the GOOOOO.... factors. Eco Mode: Will help on long distance driving, especially at night where there's less traffic on the road, and you don't feel the need to have the power to get you out of trouble at times. City Mode: Definitely takes some of the lag out you normally have. City Mode +4 has a significant power to foot increase. Sport Mode: Here's where the fun begins. The in car Sport Mode has it's plus's. But the Pedal Commanders Sport Mode adds the differences between Normal Mode, and In Car Sport Mode, and doubles it again. (Normal + Sport = MORE Sport). Sport Mode +4 REALLY brings on the power. I admit, the touchiness of the throttle pedal caught me out a couple of times using Sport +4. The power it there immediately, so it'll take some getting used to. Sport + Mode: NOW THE FUN REALLY BEGINS. Think of it as Normal + Sport + MORE Sport Mode +4 = and you've got you answer. I can see why the Pedal Commander comes with a warning that it should only be used on the track. Can Sport + Mode still be used on the roads? Of course it can. It just gives you everything in means of acceleration you were probably expecting from your Hemi 5.7 to have from the outset, but the throttle lag left you a little disappointed, and/or maybe frustrated with. Is it worth the price $$$? FOR ME, in MY opinion, it's worth every dime, and I am MORE than a little happy with it. As for the Nay-Sayers, and Negative-Nancies out there, bashing the Pedal Commander, AGAIN, in MY OPINION, these are the individuals who don't have the funds to purchase it, so they'd rather bash it, and troll others who purchase it. Individuals who know nothing about what Pedal Commander is designed to do, which is to simply remove the throttle lag from the pedal to the engine. The type of individuals who if they saw Jesus Christ walking on water, they'd bash him for not being able to swim. Would I recommend the Pedal Commander? 100% I WOULD.

Do not purchase for 2019 Dodge Charger 3.6
Purchased the Pedal Commander late September '24. Heard many good things about quicker pedal response with HP you have. Anyway, prior to purchasing the product, I read reviews as most people should when buying performance mods. Having done so, I read a few reviews that raised concern about ECM faults and codes popping up and even throttle shutdowns while driving. I thought to myself, self, these are just random occurrences and the buyers probably did not install the Pedal Commander properly. Upon receiving the pedal commander, I opened the box up, marveled at the simplicity of it and went to YouTube to view some installation tips and tricks. Low and behold, more negative post were popping up with detailed explanations to issues experienced when utilizing the Pedal Commander. I called the help desk and addressed some of my concerns and was assured as long as I followed the installation instructions, I should not experience any of these issues I was reading and watching. WRONG!! A month after the installation, I began experiencing exactly what I read about, stability control warnings, check engine light coming on, loss of throttle control while driving. I will add to this, I installed the Pedal Commander specifically according to the manufacturers instructions. I Uninstalled the Pedal Commander a few days ago, cleared codes from my ECM and have not experienced any further issues with my 2019 Charger in Sport or normal mode. Now I will have to probably fight to get my refund since I have had the product for almost 2 months.

Overall Great Product! BUT... beware of a couple things
Put this on my 2015 Dodge Charger R/T a little over a week ago. Let me say, it drives like a whole new car! I generally keep it in City 2, There’s little lag, and the response is very comfortable! Gas mileage.. even in city mode, I’m still averaging around 2mpg better than I was previously.. better mileage, better acceleration.. what more could you want?? I have a 30 minute commute to work every day, mostly highway. Usually id average 25-26mpg on this trip, putting the PC in eco mode, I’m now up around 33-34mpg.. even better than the 20% improvement they estimate. Sport Mode is no joke, the car will fly! Haven’t tried sport+ yet.. honestly don’t know if my tires will grip. So why the 4 stars? First: Installation. Conceptually, it’s easy as can be; however when you’re 6’5, 300lbs, with sausage fingers.. contorting your body to get where you need to be to hook it up is something I never want to experience again. Second: DO NOT CHANGE THE SETTING WHILE YOURE DRIVING. I tried to switch from city to eco while driving down the highway.. I was greeted by a Christmas Light show on my dash and the car locked itself in 6th gear.. had to pull over and restart the car All was good after restarting, the check engine remained on for a couple days, then went off on its own.

3 WORDS...HO LEE CRAP!
That is exactly what you will be saying the first time you drive your vehicle with your PC on Sport+ (+4). After reading 100 five 🌟 reviews, I decided to pull the trigger and order one for my 2022 Dodge Charger GT 3.6L V6. This thing is amazing! Instant acceleration...in every gear! My car feels like an Indy car now (not that I've ever actually driven an Indy car) Definitely worth every penny, and it really does take less than 15 min to install. All I used was a fork (I didn't have a vehicle tab puller) and my phone light. Mine has never been on any other mode than Sport+ (+4) and 2 weeks driving with it on that setting, and I'm still laughing out loud every time I accidentally hit the gas pedal a little too hard and my head snaps back hitting the headrest. This is probably the worst time in history to have one of these on your vehicle, because if you're like me and "feel the need for speed" (old school Top Gun reference) everytime you get behind the wheel, you're going to be burning through those $5 gallons of gas quick! *WARNING* If you let your wife drive your vehicle with the PC on Sport/Sport+, be ready to buy a 2nd one for her car! Driving is a blast again... like the first time you did a donut in your mom's car. I recommend using the app to control your PC settings... adds to the coolness of having this thing on your car. Even the box it comes in is cool.....Pull the trigger, and quit waiting to buy your Pedal Commander!
