Solid yet dainty
Very hefty pen pendant. Sets well on dainty chain purchased separately. Writes well. Perfect for the person who always needs a pen but has no pockets.

About as good as it looks
Everything about the pen seems high quality and durable. I am not a pen expert but it seems to write fine and does what any other pen would do. My only complaint is the design. It is too easy to accidentally unscrew the part of the pen to get to the internals while only wanting to unscrew the cap. Annoying but still functionable. I feel it could be designed to prevent that. Also, would be nice if the cap could screw into the other side of the pen to keep them together. Would be a feature to make it perfect.

Pens shouldn’t cut, y’know?
So here’s the thing: it cuts. Deep. Got a nasty deep red line in my thumb now. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are two compartments, but for some odd reason the stupid cap is harder to unscrew than the cartridge compartment. So while I got the cap off I needed to tighten down the cartridge area... and as it turns out that part is sharp enough to slice through skin quite easily. See also: too thick to make a decent keychain pen, and a bit too heft to consider it even if it were.

Great brass pen very high quality.
This pen is very nice. It writes smoothly and has a decent weight to it. I'm going to order a couple more soon. I'm picky about what I write with. However I love using this pen

Pretty but don't really use it
Pen is nice and small but I find the cap with it's fine threads somewhat cumbersome to use. Also for it to stay seamless when closed the edges where the cap and pen meets are sharp enough to cut you if you're not careful.

Caps should be easy
Let's start with what I'm happy with - it's a great looking pen. Really, just the brass and rod like look are worthy of the 2 stars. It's small and very portable and I like that it has a little bit of weight to it despite being so small (just barely fits into my hand for being so small) But there's more to it than just the look. Having to screw the cap on and off each time you want to use it is such a hassle, it's not just 2 twists around the body either. The It's diameter is too small to be handy when writing. The metal on metal feeling when screwing it in or out isn't pleasant even though the bearings are precise. Reading the previous reviews I had imagined the screwing on and off was mostly for the refills, mind you I was wrong. I've had this pen for a few weeks now - I've uncapped it once.

What Seem, Where?
Nice job on the tube, I can not see the seem. I have the Short Frosted version for EDC. No sharp points to poke a hole in my pocket. Just long enough to be comfortable to write with. This is not my primary writing pen, but is perfect for my EDC backup pen which I will use 3 or 4 times a month.

Wait, whaaaaaa??! It IS a pen!
Okay so for a while I was frustrated because, as an earlier review said, when you first unscrew it, it seems to be just a loose cartridge in a pretty gold case—not a pen!! But then my boyfriend noticed the nib of the pen actually unscrews from inside the cap, which I didn’t see because the seam was not obvious at all—it IS a pen! The cartridge is not that inky, but seems standard enough to replace. Otherwise, this pen pendant is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend.
