I thought I was ordering a “child’s” costume prop, with the emblem being about an inch in size. It’s actually a very pretty piece of jewelry on a dainty chain. I’ve known children ages 4 or 5 who CAN wear something like this without breaking it…but I think it’s generally more age appropriate for age 10 and up. You’d have to know the child you were giving it to. I think I’m actually going to wear it. I had a good friend who encouraged me to go see the movie, and afterwards he confessed that the main character reminded him of me. He died a few years ago, and I’ll wear it in memory of him when I get together with that group of people.
