Great hammer. My cheap Harbor Freight hammer broke while framing a shed, so I ordered this as a replacement for the next day. Usually a heavier hammer is better for framing, but I’ve dealt with carpal tunnel over the years from repetitive stress and figured 16oz would be better for me. The quality metal construction of this hammer will hold up to just about any application - very durable. The magnet is excellent for starting a nail before you drive it. Very pleased!

Great build quality and it looks badass! The rubber mallet head piece is worth it alone!

This hammer is designed for long extended periods of hammering is designed perfectly for ease in hammering or extracting nails . 30 years of maintenance work never had such a reliable easy to use hammer I love it.very durable.

I’ve used this hammer once to tap in some nails on my baseboard molding. I thought this would be good because of the magnetic nail holder. Literally put in just 2 nails, tapping lightly since I was in a very tight area with not enough room for a good swing of the hammer. When I was done, the head of the hammer is totally banged up. Almost like the nail heads were digging into it. Totally rough and jagged. Meanwhile my 30 year old Stanley hammer’s head is still nice and smooth. I can’t see me using this hammer again unless I absolutely need the magnetic nail holder.
