We brought this game for our Grandson and he's well into it. Gained top levels already and thinks everyone will enjoy it as well.

Pros *Special Guest Referee match (with or without meter) *War Games *Ambulance & Casket matches *Blood is much better in this years game as it spills on to the chest *Blood stains not just on the ring mat but also outside on the ring floor *Backstage is a slight upgraded from 2K22 *Tired fatigue stance (amazing work) *Can throw all weapons including tables & ladders *WWE 2K24 controls are still on par with 2K22. *Hit impact from using one opposition as a battering ram to another opposition during triple threat matches, tag matches any match type with more than 2 wrestlers. *So many more options to customise the type of match you want. Cons *2K Showcase (seriously just get rid of it) *2K My Rise (i hate this mode) SD:HCTP career path is far greater and infinite until fired by choice! *Managers are constantly taking off the turnbuckle which is annoying. *You cannot grapple with weapons only RVD can do that with a chair. *No Capture finishers unless the player initiates it themselves by doing the flapjack move into a capture finisher. *Ambulance second door/ Casket match system/ submission system is broken, seems you have 85% chance to lose than you do win this includes on easy mode. *No OMG moments just simple things will make the crowd say "This is awesome!" *Breaking barricades like you did in 2K19 will not exist in this game, but certain ring sides without the screens will let you break the barricades using regular moves. *Ladders and tables (flamed) when setup keep collapsing every time i or opponent goes into the ring or go back out of the ring (hardly kissing the table) or should a referee choose to follow us out and in the ring. It's like the ladders and tables were setup minimal on oil slick or slime. *Weapons keep slipping out of the ring when being stepped on or should an opponent be irish whipped near to it...brings me back to oil slick or slime i guess. *Brock Lesnar is not in this year game as a playable wrestler in other modes besides 2K Showcase. *I prefer not using O to grapple hold opponents before choosing heavy or light grapple attacks but heck anything to slow down the pace of the match i guess, just looks unrealistic to me as when i watch wrestling matches they don't grapple hold as much as we in games do. *When creating a move set for your CAW after choosing your moves and accepting it then playing it through move set creation, you end up using generic moves rather than the actual moves you opted in for. (it only effects move set creation) *Creating a custom entrance is lackluster as you don't have many options on the side of pyros, you're very limited to what you can do in terms of creativity. *Custom entrances played out in both Universe Mode and Play mode is broken as it doesn't register everything you put in, you may even find yourself thinking 'i don't remember putting that there'. *When doing high flying moves from top rope turnbuckle to outside the ring, hits an invisible floating box without impacting the opposition. *Oppositions seem to enjoy trying to double irish whip me far too frequently it's almost like they're trying to achieve their own goals of some sort which doesn't sit well for me as i get tired of it and flat out squash whoever is doing it. *My Faction is boring and tedious. This is a yearly game and i don't sit at my computer playing games every day yet the gear/ attires and perhaps even wrestlers that aren't in the base game is locked through this mode and is only playable with internet connection is very troubling. Yet the game is being sold as AAA price tag. I have no idea why i should even be typing about this mode but, who in the right mind would want to waste time buying virtual currency to spend buying pretty much everything in virtual cards not getting what they wanted to put on to their own CAW. They should've locked those things behind My Rise or 2K Showcase. At least those that buy the game late will be able to unlock things then rather than watching a screen saying that the servers are no longer available because of WWE 2K25. I don't understand My Faction and i refuse to learn about it as it seems time consuming and unenjoyable. ------------------------ My final thoughts.... Scrap 2K Showcase it was great in 2014 but only on that year because it was new and interesting.10 years later we still have this mode it's very stale and it's time for it to retire and focus on what more the fans want rather than this stale mode. My Rise needs to be revamped... i can see they tried but it's still bland as we get told each year your choices define the outcome. Why not go back to SD:HCTP and use that as a blue print to get the ball rolling... I ain't gone bother with My Faction i said enough.... it's just horrible, scrap it now! And focus more on the bugs and glitches that may not even be around if you didn't pump so much fillers of garbage modes into this being a AAA title. I have enjoyed playing my custom matches in Universe mode but i do wish 2K19s pin and submission system were back. Not exactly keen on mashing buttons to submit or be submitted it's stupid....WWE 2K19 submission wheel system was excellent. Seems this year it has still more cons than pros so 3/5
