Calculus Made Easy: 2024 New Edition

This is THE book that most Calculus websites and classes recommend. True, it's over 100 years old (first printing 1910), but it has been updated with the modern typeface and some of the wording. The book explains Calculus better than any other book I've tried to read through, it assumes nothing, every step is explained, it's refreshing.

Bought this for my son who is a 3rd yr engineering student after checking it out of the library. He liked it so much I found a copy on Amazon and ordered it. There were some gaps in his calculus knowledge and he said this book showed how everything relates. Excellent resource!

I have just started going over the first part of the book...Wow!!! I have learned other parts of Mathematics no problem, calculus is something different, focusing on it will be challenging but that's me!!! It will be great learning Calculus!!!!

This book sure exposes how stupid I am.

It's an old book republished with a new back cover. It's deceptive and disingenuous to say it's a "2024 New Edition".

How can a Calculus textbook author state that 1,000,000,000,000 is ONE billion? Various sentences are so convoluted that they are effectively saying nothing. NOTE: the book was actually written in 1910 and an entrepreneur got the rights to republish it. Clearly the entrepreneur did not bother to vet the information. So the cover itself misleads the buyer into thinking they are getting a modern book, when in fact it is 100+ years old clearly written for a British audience using currency examples that haven't been used in roughly the same time. Amazon doesn't let you know this either. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS THAT THIS BOOK IS BEING PRINTED AND SOLD. Do Not Buy It.

The typeface was so thin I could barely read the text and equations. I finally gave up and found another book.

Old, dated and not a way to easily understand Calculus. Thankfully, I've already found cheaper and better books than this one.

Essenzialità e chiarezza, efficacia. Adatto come preambolo a qualunque tipo di studio, anche da autodidatta, o anche come riepilogo e riferimento rapido.

Da bei Nachdrucken alter, mathematischer Texte immer wieder Bücher in unterirdischer Druckqualität angeboten werden, möchte ich meinen Eindruck zu diesem Buch gerne teilen. Der Druck ist super! Der Text scheint neu gesetzt/digitalisiert zu sein (kein Scan) , daher sind Formeln, Text und Grafiken allesamt sehr gut lesbar.

É muito fácil apreender com este livro e exercício do mundo real ajudaram a enquadrar.

I took a calculus course in first year of college and the professor could not explain things very well. The textbook also was difficult to understand. This book Calculus Made Easy is the best textbook on the subject and I would recommend it for all students who are studying Calculus for the first time.

It was okay. Chapter 4 is really hard to understand though, so I didn't finish the book.
