Great budget iron
Been using it for a few weeks now. It was hard to get the element in the first time. There is a small black line on the tips the iron comes with and that line needs to be pushed to be even with the end of the pen. If you don't get it pushed in far enough it will say heating element undetected. I can't stress enough that you have to press uncomfortably hard the first time you install a tip! Once installed this iron works great. Quick heat up. I love the cool down when in the stand features. The pen is very light which may take some getting used to for some but I enjoy it. Tip changing is easier after the first time but still takes some effort. Because of this, I turn the iron off completely to change tips. You can pull a hot tip out using the stand but inserting a new tip I've had to use my hands. I got the C210 pen and it works very well for the soldering work that I do. I can't speak to the longevity of the tips yet but the auto cool feature should help them last for quite a while. Overall, the interface is fairly basic but has the necessary information. The temp seems accurate but I haven't done any specific tests to find out for sure. At this price point, this iron exceeded all my expectations and definitely recommend it for hobbyist soldering.

Nice compact soldering station
I've been using a Yihua 908D for years now. I'm a hobbyist that enjoys playing with MCUs and related circuitry builds. The 908D has served me well for this purpose. However, I was looking to step things up with a "station" that has a sleep mode since I do soldering work at my desk and can get sidetracked by real work and life in general. The easily changeable cartridges was also a feature that interested me. The 982-III fit my needs perfectly. This station is nice and compact, making it perfect for situations where "workbench" surface availability is at a premium. I also don't need some of the advanced features more expensive stations offer such as memory and perfect temperature regulation. I just need an iron that works for what I need to do, when I want it to. After spending a few days using the 982-III to solder some "kits" to test and get used to it, I'm more than pleased with the capability of this station. Sure, it may take a few extra seconds to heat up than claimed in the product sales literature, but that doesn't bother me as a hobbyist. I'm setting similar temps as when I was using my 908D and getting the same or better performance. I chose to opt for the C245 handle for the increased mass in the cartridge so I can push the iron a bit when/if needed. Haven't run into an issue where the cartridge can't keep up, even when using a smaller cartridge than I should since I didn't want to change out tips (more on this in a sec). Overall, I have no complaints on the performance of this unit and appreciate the upgraded features it offers over my previous iron. My only complaint is with the C245 handle. It requires unnecessary force to insert a cartridge (initially had the "element not found" error, until I read a review that said to basically force the cartridge in to seat it properly). Removing the tip with one hand is not possible (as in the "cartridge quick change" feature). I actually have to wait a bit for the iron to cool off and use two hands to remove a cartridge. I have contacted Yihua regarding this issue requesting feedback. If the response is not satisfactory, I will update my review and search for a replacement C245 handle (if it gets to this point it may be more cost effective to opt for a slightly more expensive solution, but I appreciate the form factor of this station for my needs).

Perfect for computer repair, has a very precise solder head
That's the best soldering station I ever saw compared to the ones found in brick & mortar shops. The ones found in physical stores are too thick and can't manage micro-electronics (not high enough temperature, needs 400°C or more). With this one I can choose the temperature as I see fit up to 450°C (842°F) and it takes only a few seconds to reach this temperature. I don't use its "holding arms" accessory but it's still very nice to have just incase (the metal arms that hold the parts in place for you, left & right arms). However one thing I noted is that the soldering iron unexpectedly shuts down if I move it a little, even gently while the solder wire holder is plugged-in. I had to remove the solder wire holder (removable accessory) and I was afterwards able to move the soldering station without having it unexpectedly shutdown. So if you're having unexpected shutdown issues, this might be the problem; the solder-wire holder accessory, try removing it. Other than that, it's the best ever soldering station I saw. Other ones cost considerably higher prices for a similar temperature changer functionality. I also modified it on my hand by cutting the US power outlet plug and replacing it with an EU power plug, which worked flawlessly (it supports 240V electrical current as well).

Quick to heat, easy to operate, very complete unit
Easy to set up and operate, has stand by función, comes with 4 tips, soldering tin, the small sponge and the still wool for tip cleaning, Max temperatura of 450 c. Comes with helping hands as well that can come "in handy" for certain jobs. Good value for the money, I'm a casual user and bought it to replace my gaming controllers joysticks.

Has it ALL!
If you know what to look for them you know this is a great deal and has it all. Great features like accuracy, temperature control, a decent spread of high quality tips, Induction sleep controller, colored display, and colored assembly instructions! The brass wool was real (tested with magnet). Everything you want it here. If only they had a set that let you choose both size tip sets 🤷🏻 My screen was cracked but it doesn't hurt anything so no big deal. I recommend you get 63/37 leaded solder since this only comes with 97/3 tin copper.
