Hourglass Sand Timer (A-60Min-White)

I wanted a reminder to get up from my workdesk and move around that wouldn't be audible in case I was on a call. An hourglass seemed perfect, I could just glance over at it once in a while and it would serve as a reminder. I bought this with the white sand and it looks really good on my bookcase, it's got a nice classic look to it, it's well-made, and it indeed does measure just about exactly an hour.

It takes well over an hour for the glass to empty so the timing is not accurate but it is cute and words for the decor item as needed.

Wasn't sure what to expect but this is a beautiful hour glass. I timed it and it really was exactly one hour! Gave as a gift and she LOVED it!

I bought this because I like to work in 1 hour sessions, and then take a break. This is actually times out about 1:15. Not a dealbreaker, but I would have preferred it be a little more accurate? Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Finding a good hourglass has turned into quite the quest, and this is the third one I've bought. Lots of them stop altogether, sand gets stuck. Smaller ones tend to do that. This one is a nice size, but not so big it's hogging up my desk real estate. This one has a nice sand flow that I can actually see and is reasonable priced, so I'll run with it...? I like the units with a structure around the glass, gives it protection if it ever gets knocked?
