Quality part to keep your car on the road.
If you’re changing your transmission fluid, get a new filter too! It’s located right next to the drain bolt, it could be a pain to remove the old one depending on how long it’s been since it was changed but your transmission will thank you. Just make sure your automatic transmission actually has an external filter. My 07 Outback does, but my 11 Forester does not even though it’s the same transmission.

Perfect for 2001 outback H6 VDC
This fit perfectly and was an exact replacement to the AT remote filter in front of the drivers wheel well on my 2001 Subaru outback VDC. OEM packaging and all, but $20 cheaper than from the dealer. I've had my car 10 years, 120k miles and never changed this filter so it was well due.

OEM Subaru filter
This is a genuine filter, the box is actually printed on, no sticker. The filter had the bottom plastic piece and is printed on just like all OEM Subaru filters. The box also has the dot pattern in the glue for sealing the box. These are always to tell if it is a genuine Subaru filter.I have ordered several Subaru parts from the seller for my 2007 Impreza. All parts have been OEM, arrive on time, and in perfect condition.
