They have lids that have a latch lock. They function just as described. They are much smaller than I expected but that's my fault I should of read the dimensions. They do stack well on top of each other.

I store a lot of things in these containers. They are multi purpose but I don't suggest for outside.

These were perfectly to put up my Christmas items this year. I love the fact that they aren’t too big which makes some easy to handle. They keep everything nice and neat and easy to get to.

One came with a broken handle, but I use them in my welding shop to store PPE so it doesn't matter. The others snap close perfectly.
