Great Red Light
Very helpful and quality device. We use this red light for all sorts of reasons, but was primarily purchased for my husband’s ACL surgery recovery. He could tell he had faster healing from this surgery than his previous ACL on his other knee 2 years prior. It’s portable and strong. We liked it so much we have bought a second to give as a gift to my parents.

Has absolutely transformed my skin in less than 6mo of consistent daily use. Easy to travel with. Best thing I have EVER bought for my skin. Extremely good for hormonal acne, tone, and texture

Love it!
Maybe it’s anecdotal but i use this every night on my knee which gets swollen after hiking all day. The next day i notice a huge difference! Different compared to the days i don’t do it. Better recovery. I’ve also been using it on my face and i feel like it has helped me recover from some minor i juries like a sprained ankle and something i pulled in my shoulder.

Compact unit, easily handled Well made quality construction
The box is made of metal, not cheap plastic, and is very well made, durable, and is "heavy weight" compared to the one I have with cheap aluminum frame. The lights are covered with individual protective clear "?plastic type material". The lights will get warm tho they start off cold. There is a wonderful manual , explains everything and a nice hard type material carrying case (looks like it will take the bumps and spills easily". There are lights on side indicating state of charge, and a C type USB charger cord. There is just one button that says Time. Push that button briefly and it will show you the state of charge in the 4 lights (4 lit up means fully charged and 3 on down are lower states of charge). Now push and hold for a second or 3 and the red lights will come on and it will read out 10 tap lightly and it will read out 15, and again and it will read out 5. These are the number of minutes you will have it run for, then just let it go. Remember not to look at it (the manual shows people using it without eye protection, but it really is important to cover eyes) Just closing your eyes helps, but over the treatment time , if you have it facing your "eye", please put on the comfie rubbery eye protections they give you. You can prop it or hold it.There is a vent on 2 sides of the box for ventillation, so keep that in mind if you have it against some kind of surface to hold it up with. The instructions tell you how far away you should have it, and how powerful it is at that distance. I have used it directly on my skin (like leg or stomach, not face or over my chest) and it feels really good and has not burnt me, but I do pay attention and usually run it for 5 minutes at that distance. Need to see how you react (I can lay in the sun almost all day without sun burn, so I have a high tolerance to begin with, and obviously thick skin). This is a great little unit to use in specfic areas (the large ones you can buy at extreamly high prices will do your whole body quickly in a short amount of time), but this is more site specfic, so your use time can be more if you do different parts of your body separately . Great price, the LED's are very bright, and have a nice quality to them. They are 660nm (red) and peak 850nm (near infrared), NIR, a good range to cover your bases. I have also used FIR, far infrared in saunas, which is a different thing altogether. This I use for more localized pain, like overdoing my knees or elbows ect.

Feedback
If buying for Australia be aware you only get an American charger.

Rugged construction. Kinda heavy/bulky. Rechargeable Battery.
The panel is small, which does enhance it's portability. So, in theory, the small size does allow it to take up little room in one's luggage or bag. For the small size (1.5"D X 4"W X 6"H), it does have some heft/weight, especially when compared to fabric pad variations. Of course the weight difference is due to the solid, rugged construction. So, depending on your personal criteria, this could be a favorable aspect. I've been using a red light therapy pad, which has greatly helped my sore thigh muscles. So, I am an advocate of red light therapy. This device offers red light and near infrared light wavelengths (660nm and 850nm, respectively). These wavelengths penetrate beyond the surface of the skin, increasing blood flow; the photon/light therapy benefiting blood flow, collagen and helping with muscle and joint pain. The significant other states that red light/near infrared light treatments are used in spas to help reduce inflammation and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This would explain the product details emphasizing treatments for face and neck. Word to the wise: make sure to wear the protective glasses, the emitted light (including the 'invisible to human vision' near infrared light) are powerful. Best to protect your eyes during treatment. Initially, I thought this was a bit pricey for the product genre. However, the device does include an internal rechargeable battery. This contributes to the earlier mention regarding heft. The inclusion of the wireless feature makes it much more user friendly and accessible. You can set up and use this anywhere, without being tethered to a USB port or wall outlet (trust me, I have to sit next to a USB port when using the red light therapy pad for my thigh muscle treatment; I am forced to sit in the corner of the sofa). The significant other states that she'd welcome using it as part of her home spa facial treatment. Of, I could pay for her to go to the spa often to get the therapy. So, in a sense, the cost of $200 could potentially be an economical choice. Based on these considerations, and the product's exhibited quality manufacture, it garners a 4.5 - 4.75 star rating, with a very favorable reception.
