This paste is very good. I have been dipping my air fries in it and I love it. Soon I will use it other ways but for now its good enough to have around all the time.

I just got this in the mail today. It was very nicely packaged. I put some on my taco tonight and it was not bad at all. Tasted better than I thought but I did not put a whole lot on it. I am going to experiment with putting this in other things because of the benefits I learned about it. Thank you.

Nothing on the box says anything about tamarind paste, just “cooking paste” as shown in the picture. 10 minutes and a sharp knife was needed to remove the ridiculous amount of tape and bubble wrap. Overkill on the packaging but the tamarind is good.

I brought this because the organic tamarind paste from this company was (and still is as of this writing) unavailable on amazon. The organic version has a sweet and tart taste whereas this version is not tart and has more of a molasses taste. The organic version does extremely well in pad thai. I used this in rendang (I thought it would work like the organic one) but that was a big mistake and now Im afraid to use this in pad thai. Rani, please bring back the organic version, that one was the best! Im sure this version has a good use somewhere, but not for my needs

Came as described, in two boxes. Expertly wrapped in bubble wrap on the inside. The best pure tamarind product out there. USDA organic. I use it to make juice, absolutely delicious.

Rani is my go-to for spices and such - 17 orders in 2025 alone. That's how fresh the products are, and how reliable this company is. Never any problems and everything is always top-notch! We cook a lot of international recipes - many of which call for tamarind (in one form or another) and so knowing how good Rani's products are, we chose to buy this in powder form this time.

Lots of people sell tamarind sauces, but those come with added ingredients. I wanted to be able to control the consistency and taste, so this powder was perfect. Fresh! The seller said it might be a little lumpy because of the sweetness of the tamarind. It is but it's easy to get it back into powder form just by rubbing it. Will be buying from them again for sure!
