Perfect fit for 11 inch iPad Pro w Magic Keyboard
Didn’t see a review from 11 inch iPad so here is mine. The holder does the trick. The second gen pencil fits snug and tight. No danger in losing your $$$ pencil. So this also works with the new IPad 11 Magic Keyboard. Put the band under the iPad and it doesn’t interfere at all with the closing or add thickness. The material is faux leather (aka plastic) but it looks nice and doesn’t look out of place. It will not charge the pencil - so once in a while you need to take it out for a charge. That’s expected. Bottom line - it does the job and works fine w Magic Keyboard.

Not perfect, good enough to recommend
In order to fit various size, the elastic band is loose on my 11” iPad Pro Smart Cover. The band is not thick but thick enough to make the iPad not stick to the cover tightly, so I push it to as far away from the magnetic points as possible. Not perfect, but for me it’s better than those sticky pocket, I can use it or not use it depends on where I’m going. The pocket is decent to hold the pencil securely. I don’t think I will use it often enough to wear it out, even it does, just buy another one is no big deal. So, even I gave it four star because it’s loose and a bit thick, I still think it’s a good holder and be happy to recommend it.

Good but eventually looses hold
Ordered on December 17, 2024 And it’s November 13,2025…it has loosened since then and apple pencil is slipping out the holder. If I’m carrying it and happen to hold my iPad sideways there’s a chance it falls out and I don’t notice and would lose my apple pencil. Overall it’s good as a holder but maybe go for a silicone one that’s tied to your ipad if you daily use an apple pencil. I occasionally use mine so I just use the holder to know where in my bag my apple pencil is.

Great fit for the Samsung Creator Edition Pen
I bought this as an "experiment." My iPad Air case has a convenient slot for the Apple Pencil already. Unfortunately, the pen holder on my Galaxy S9 FE+ case only fits the included S-Pen and the Creator Edition S-Pen (CES-Pen from now on) is too large for it. Since my Apple Pencil 2 and CES-Pen are virtually the same dimensions, I bought this for my CES-pen and am happy to report that it fits it very well. I'm so happy to have a more "secure" (don't trust the magnets) holder for my CES-Pen on my Galaxy tablet now. The CES-Pen is very slightly shorter than the Apple Pencil 2 (less than a centimeter), but it's not so short that it'll get stuck in the holder or is difficult to grab and just pull out. Edit: I did end up crumpling a tiny piece of index card to shove down in it so the pen would stick out a teeny bit more. It wasn’t “bad” before (as pictured in the included image), but I certainly think it’s better, now.

Great solution!
I recently bought the magic keyboard, but I no longer had a spot for my apple pen in my case. The pan has a magnet, so it would stay connected to the iPad, but it would fall off constantly while transporting or using the iPad. This allows the pen to stay with my iPad, without losing it. Works great!

No! No! No!!! Waste of money.
I purchased this to keep my new Apple Pencil Pro safe and secure. Well…. Nope it doesn’t work. Too many times I have had to search for my Apple Pencil because it keeps falling out of the sheath of this product. At first it felt secure but within a few weeks I discovered that the sheath had stretched from the pencil being inserted and removed and no longer held the pencil securely. Today I searched for nearly an hour looking for my pencil having to retrace my steps. I thankfully found it. Today I also received my new holder that I purchased because I was sick and tired of my Apple Pencil falling out. The only way this one would ever work is if you never used it to carry your pencil in the first place. The manufacturer needs to redesign this as the material it is made of stretches way too much to keep your pencil safe.

Easy to use & a firm fit for the pencil

The pen holder works perfectly for its purpose. It is too big for an ipad mini but if you are handy with a needle and thread it can be made to fit which is what I wanted it for. It is unfortunate that the dont make two sizes, one for the mini and one for the bigger ipads.

Purchased the case and the pencil holder. The case fits my iPad 6th Gen perfectly, and the sleep/wake cover works as expected. The cover sticks to the iPad very well when closed, so it doesn't randomly swing open. The quality of the pencil holder is very good - looks like it's going to last for a while. Happy with the purchase.

Lightweight case that feels durable and protects my 2018 iPad nicely. The angles that it props up my iPad to is great for taking notes in lecture.

Although this product is supposed to hold the pen safely it really doesn’t, the pen slips out of the holder as it doesn’t have a flap to keep it in place. Also it is not leather as advertised it PU cheaply made and expensively sold, total waste of money i would return but I’m away until after the return date. Depending on which way you hold the iPad the pen will definitely drop out as it has with me a couple of times
