This collection brings together Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater along with the classic 8-bit Metal Gear titles — all neatly packaged with modern convenience. Playing these legendary games with smoother performance and crisp visuals feels fantastic. The PS5 handles them perfectly, and the added features, like soundtracks, screenplay archives, and bonus materials, make it feel like a true celebration of the franchise. The nostalgic cutscenes and stealth gameplay still hold up brilliantly after all these years. While it would have been nice to see some deeper visual remastering or quality-of-life updates, the authenticity of the originals is preserved — and that’s part of the charm. For longtime fans, it’s a trip down memory lane. For newcomers, it’s the best way to discover where cinematic storytelling in games truly began.

To be able to receive all three games in a collection like this is amazing. After watching gameplay of the remake, I knew I had to get this first before the remake of Snake Eater. I'm glad I purchased this.
