ScorpionEXO EXO-R420 Shield

Have had this for 8 months now and use DAILY and canyons riding. The only visor I have found to actually work for this helmet as EASILY as it does. I can confirm that it is visible (even during night) at least better than a mirrored visor, that it is great quality, scratch resistant (resistant being the key word), and is sized good. Bugs don’t stand a chance with this visor!!! Thankfully it’s easy to clean. It DOES fog though when it’s cold in the mornings even with the vents open, but it doesn’t fog completely, just enough to be annoying so you get a pin holder. Looks good, just wish it was a little thicker or darker to look even cooler during the day AND night. Have yet to find another visor that fits the R420 helmet as well as this one.

Looks Awesome and it Works , it Definitely helps ridin' into the Blazing TeXaS sun. It still can be used for early pre-sunrise within city limits (street lights) , can be dark in some spots with less lights. Same as ridin' at dusk hours. I keep the original clear visor in my saddle bags , just in case. Install was super easy. I would most definitely buy again when it's time for an replacement

Fits helmet perfectly and offers grest sun protection

Likes: • It fits perfectly, as if it was the stock visor that came with the helmet • With the helmet being black and the visor being dark, it gives the style of the helmet a monotone look • Once I got used to the helmet, the weight is light enough that it doesn’t bother my neck at all. I haven’t ridden long distances, however • Its well ventilated, both under the helmet itself (enough to allow a bug to fly up into it), at the mouth where it has two options for ventilation or closes completely if necessary, and on the top • The straps are easy to connect and has a snap to keep the extra strap left from hanging Dislikes: • Installation of the visor was a little challenging, getting everything to line up so the visor is functional and flush with the helmet. It’s hard to see where and how to connect the visor to the helmet because of it being dark, but otherwise it would defeat the purpose of the visor • The visor does affect visibility on darker days or closer to nighttime, and because of the time it takes to reconnect it to the helmet, I’m reluctant to swap it out with the stock visor • When the sun shines in my direction, I struggle almost as much as I did with the clear visor, so it doesn’t block out much light when the sun is high in the sky or shining right at me Overall, I still like the visor so much better than the clear stock visor.

The quality is nice, a bit overpriced in my opinion, when first taken out of the package can be mistaken for wrong color until installed onto the helmet, as the darkness of the inside of the helmet is what gives it its full color, fits great, functions great, looks good and easy to install, the tint is perfect for riding in the big bright sun, over all 4/5 , only missing its last point soley base on the price

Perfect fit! Looks great and was worth the money. Good quality but be mindful of finger prints and scratches.

Due to the other reviews i was worried since some they got a different tint or it was completely see through or easy peeling or what not. Which all could be true but for me I have had this for about a week now and I drive an hour of highway to work and back. So far the key things are for me. - tinted but not too tinted. Even can wear at night perfect. But doesn't hurt my eyes in the sun - after only a week still have not a single scratch on it - it does seal like the original visor does and keep wind and rain out - kind of flimsy but stays on good, once clipped in It feels solid and can stay up while riding if needed So far nothing really negative to say about it
