Great for entry level technicians and DIY
I purchased this tool for my son and here is his review of the tool: This scan tool is great for people just starting out in the auto industry or for DIY. It can scan check engine lights and even do more advanced diagnostic and resets. I used to scan some Hondas I was working on. It can read data from multiple modules and can do stuff like reset oil lights, relearn Steering sensors and even Relearn the throttle body after cleaning it. Best of all, it’s really affordable, I highly recommend this tool.

Live Data Feature is Very Impressive!
I have really been taking this device through its paces! It's very easy to use with the buttons and layout. I'm able to read live data and graph it as well while connected to any of our numerous vehicles. Had no issues looking through my Chevy 2500 HD truck for codes and watching as the live data was plotted all simultaneously on my CRP123's screen on an easy to read graph! I used it on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica to review the evap system for faults and easily located one I'll be fixing myself ASAP! In this situation the code will persist but I can easily clear it until the evap system does it's random test and sets it again. Great scanner at an affordable price with the ability to reset SAS on my 2013 Kia Sorento or any of my vehicles with ease. Other resets include the oil change reminder and throttle adaption. This is a very useful tool in a nice form factor considering it's capabilities! I'll be using this as my go-to scanner in the future. Quality from Launch!

Over priced code reader.
Quick overview. Do not buy. If your mechanically inclined enough to want something better then an O’Reillys or AutoZone scanner this is not it. If you looking for a simple code reader this is very over priced. Update The manufacturer spam emails me through Amazon. Emailing with them is very scammy. Will send emails via Amazon but then tell you to email some random email for issues or concerns. Email doesn’t match the website. Or product. I’m pretty sure I wasted money and not going to get scammed out of more. Do not buy! I purchased and have hooked up to a couple vehicles. It will read codes and tell you the code and what is likely the cause but wouldn’t suggest trusting 100%. Some vehicles it offers more info on then others. All of this can be done with a basic code reader from auto part store for 100$ less. It offers a website where you can update and improve but website is not in English as a stock site and do not offer ease of use for people if your looking to update. Has prices for options in the device when hooked to car so I’m assuming it wants more money. It does have some extra detailed features but for the price I’d highly suggest anything else. I got it on sale for 143$ and still think I over paid. I’m not a professional mechanic but I am mechanically inclined enough to rebuild transmissions and engines. Was hoping this would be a nice tool for my diesel truck but very dissatisfied. Doesn’t have any info on individual cylinders. It does show fuel rail pressure but other wise it covers what you see on your dash. I have noticed it working differently with manufacturers. Chevy didn’t seem worth it. BMW had reasonable info but not great. Nissan was meh mostly same as Chevy. It could be that I have to pay for more sections to work and give me more info but this is not what is advertised in the images for all the sections of your car it can connect to. Or at least requires more money.

Better than engine code reader
This tool is a great little step up from the classic engine code reader. While it keeps simplicity and it's easy to use, you will get full functions of code reader + ability to scan other control modules like ABS, Transmission or Airbag.

A very capable tool
More than just a typical code reader. This Launch will scan all the modules... ABS, SRS, PCM, etc. As you know modern cars have quite a few modules on their network. Screen is large and bright and can easily be read in daylight conditions. Long cord makes it easy to position during a test drive for monitoring live data. Buttons and menu are straight forward as the tool prompts you for the next step. All around a good tool to have in the shop for a quick scan and for the Saturday mechanic for their own vehicles.

Great for the price
This is a great scan tool for the DIY techs out there. It's quick and easy to navigate, and it will scan all modules. Has a record function as well. Will run some automated tests such as evap, but doesn't have bidirectional controls. It doesn't have all the functions of my more expensive Launch, but it's a great vague for the price. Super happy with this purchase.

This is the OVERSEAS (non-US) version
After being unable to get the USB working to print reports, I contacted LAUNCH support and was informed this is the OVERSEAS version. Guess that explains why so many dialogs default to some Asian character set. Returned and purchased the Millennium Pro, which is for the US market.

Returned, didn't meet expectations at all. Didn't work with my vehicle LC300.

Needed a code reader for my sons 2012 Ram 3500 that could pull ABS, trans and Cummins codes. Worked great, no issues. For the price its a good reader for the DIY mech, easy to use, will pay for itself if it only saves one trip to the dealer

It's a great affordable scan tool. I had a Creader V+, but i needed something to read more than just engine codes. This works for everything a DIY mechanic like myself needs. It reads ECM, chassis, body, and SRS codes, and more.

It's ok, works and has diferents features but for me it's expensive for what it is

It never gives me anything but generic and incorrect codes. Had a fault on my hyundai tucson, gives me ecm code - when I took it to dealer, they found the number 2 coil was faulty. Absolutely useless.
