Little disappointed with the insulated lunch bag that came with this as part of the inside has fused together so can’t fully open it without ripping the insulation. The reason I brought this for my son was because it had a separate removable lunch bag.

Great backpack, but the included lunchbox was sub par. First, the size was completely inadequate for the space of the compartment it goes in, or for my lunch, for that matter. Second, if the top compartment has any kind of weight to it, it will crush the soft sided box, and your lunch. It really needs a rigid sided lunch box or container that will not fold up. That being said, everything else was excellent. Webbing for the straps os sturdy and well attached, no loosening stitching or too flimsy plastic buckles. The interior provides good insulation and is easy clean. Side mesh pockets can hold a 40 ounce bottle with ease. Love the front access to the lunch box compartment. It makes my life so much easier to take it out the side instead of having to dig out out from under everything else I have in my pack. Design is well thought out, you can adjust the interior barrier between the top and bottom a bit, sleeves for laptop and/or tablet are well placed so you don't need to fumble figuring out which is which. The dividers in the top front pocket were a little bit annoying at first, but I like them now. All in all, can't beat it for the price, good sturdy pack. I work EMS, so I take it with me every day and it gets tossed around an ambulance. Still going strong.

I bought this bag for the bottom lunchbox compartment. I am a HGV driver and this bag is perfect for my needs. The bottom compartment is large enough to hold a heated lunchbox, a coupe of bottles of water as well as snacks. The top part(both of which are separated from each other) is large enough for pens, my. Natnav, phone changer etc. Great little bag 10 out of 10
