Works great with my Brother sewing machine. I am including a thread comparison with embroidery thread and this thread. It stitched great. The bobbins are the wider plastic ones. They come in a nice bobbin case that you can use for other bobbins once you use these.

I was really struggling with my sewing machines. My mom said “it’s the bobbins-get pre-wound”. I didn’t want to spend the money-because I already had bobbins, thread, and a way to wind my own. After weeks of enduring sewing issues I finally broke down and bought some pre-wound bobbins. What’s the old saying? “Mother knows best”? It’s very true. The problems I was having are loose stitches, thread breaking, bobbin jamming, and my machine sounded like it was struggling with every stitch. Using a pre-wound bobbin changed everything! From the very first stitch! My sewing machine hummed happily along and my embroidery machine thanked me with a completed project without any issues. I can’t express my humble appreciation for these bobbins enough. They are worth every penny, they fit perfectly into both machines, they improved the function of both machines, and they last way longer than the bobbins I was winding myself. I will be buying pre-wound bobbins for the rest of my sewing life!

There is a reason why embroidery machine manufacturers recommend prewound thread. I ignored that advice and had consistent problems with thread tension. I finally decided to actually follow that advice and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Reasonably priced. Works great!!

Very smooth for embroidery in my Janome machine. No lint noted. Each bobbin contains 130 meters (142yds). That info received from seller (thank-you). Will buy again for quality and convenience.
