TD422, General Purpose Drawing Drafting Template, General Ruling Templates for Curves and Odd Shapes - 4 7/8" x 6 1/8"

Very flexible, many useful items for field or drafting table. Perfect size for utilizing in field books plus has a few curve items and a protractor that many do not have. Not the Alvin TD 654 Surveyors Special but has numerous items the 654 does not have and is definitely a cousin and match made in the field for drawing sketches on the fly in the field.

Great straight edge. I use it to underline segments in books I am reading.

I wanted something that would have a nice variety of stencil shapes, and be thin enough to use as a bookmark and fit in my journal. In that regard it works very well. The smallest sizes of the shapes are probably too small to be useful, tho they might work with a mechanical pencil. Price seems a little high for this, so that's why I gave it four stars.

find i use the 5/8 " most and we use circles and triangles for testing watercolor colors. I LOVE it, I use a very sharp pencil to make small color mix circles. thank you! Very well made.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Keep in mind that it is small. You will need a thin pen or pencil to fit especially for the smaller shapes. I wanted something to work with my A5 notebook and fit inside. This works perfectly.

Great for quick hand calculations with sketches. I like the flexibility when the hard surface is your lap or on-site with just your hand and it's slim and durable.

I use this everyday simply as a straight edge or for the shapes to notate drawings. The material is great - if you drop it, nothing shatters, cracks, or gets bent. It’s also nice to have all shapes in one place rather than separate templates.

I bought this template as an aid to drawing plans for woodworking projects. I like the material. It is flexible and durable. I was disappointed in the amount of plastic flash that was present inside the cut-outs of this template. I cleaned them out with an exacto knife but the circles are still not truly round. I have bought Alvin drafting supplies before and have always been pleased with the quality. Maybe I just got a sloppy cut this time.
