This is a long rectangular shape, I read a review before I bought it so I knew to expect that. The reason I gave 4 is because it doesn't cover nylon whole head. If you have braids or something like that it would be perfect. But I don't and I wanted to use this instead of a bonnet. Also I could tie from back to front but that gives me a headache. The material is as expected. I would recommend this. I would burchase iagain if they come out with a large square size.
