Good tool
Sturdy, effective tool for the job. No less well made than any other more expensive brand. Two caveats for those less familiar: always use lots of grease on the threads of anything with a forcing screw; and, this is important, take note of which side of the hole is scored. The arbor should pull from the side that is scored. This usually means the bulk of the tool with the nut should be inside the control arm bracket. If you do this, you won’t have any trouble.

Works GREAT!
It was a breeze to knock out the tabs with this tool. I am glad I found this.

It really helps to remove the tabs
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a good price compared to buying at a parts store. Although it didn’t push the tabs completely clear I am giving it a 5. GM didn’t stamp the cutouts deep enough for easy removal. I used a dremel to remove what was left. It makes no sense that this tool is needed for proper alignment. This will help you as trying to punch the tabs out with a hammer and punch did not work for me. Doing this in my driveway saved $200 quoted from the shop. My Chevy Express now drives straight as an arrow as a full alignment could be completed after.

Worked like a dream and great price.

I never knew I needed it
Love GM to the grave and back, but the thought process behind NOT punching the slotted holes in both upper control arm mountings on the production line is a valid reason to tell them to sleep on the couch. Enter the OEMTOOLS 24210! It was there when I needed it, it didn't complain about getting me through the hard times, didn't insert it's own opinion, listened to everything I had to say, and didn't judge me. I'm not a professional tech, just a 30+ year weekend warrior, so I had never ran into this problem......until I did. If you are doing any kind of front end work for a living or "the person that does car things" in your friends lives, you should have one of these in your toolbox. Amazon got me one the next day with Prime, when I had a job for my father tied up. Few minutes of pushing pins into my GM Engineer voodoo doll while cursing his/her existence and PRESTO, adjustable upper control arms! There are no instructions or packaging, it's use is pretty self explanatory. My GMT400 application (88-98 chevy/gmc truck) had one side of the mount punched and not the other, so I had to use it on 4 holes. It worked like a champ every time. Put a little grease on the threads to keep it from seizing up and go to town. I've purchased several tools from the OEMTOOLS brand and have been happy with all of them. You really can't go wrong. Happy wrenching!

Works ok
Used on 1990 k2500. I feel tabs on the earlier years are a little harder to remove. The tool wants to rotate as you tighten the nut so I had to shove a screw driver in it to keep it straight. One side it did a decent job punching the metal out. The other side it made quite a mess. Had to file/grind to clean it up
