Easy to install and works great

Didn’t have them long because I had to return. Mistakenly purchased due to my oversight — needed 180° rotation but these are 90°. I didn’t even think about it, just assuming they were all a standard design. Seemed like good quality but I can’t speak to durability. Mainly leaving a review to advocate due diligence on verifying what degree of rotation you need before ordering.

I use these to secure some wooden lockers, and they work very well. The locks are sturdy, easy to install, and function reliably. The only downside is that every set I’ve bought comes with the same key pattern, which means anyone who buys the same locks could technically open them. So, they’re not ideal if you need strong security. But if you just need to keep a cabinet or locker closed — like in my case — they’re perfect and do exactly what they should.

Ever break a flat key in a lock? What a pain! Luckily I managed to get the broken part out... after days of not being able to get into my toolbox. This lock has a cylindrical key. Good luck breaking that off in the lock. The lock fit perfectly and only took a couple of minutes to replace the old one.

The measurements were just as described and was easy to install. The locks are keyed alike and seem like good quality. Excellent item and price.

These locks work great with my Milwaukee tool box

We purchased these for our motorhome and we are trying to replace all the locks on the external cubbies. However, in doing so, we had at least 4 of these strip out simply from turning them too tight. And I'm not talking way tight, my 12 year old was turning them too tight. I had to be very careful to only tighten them just barely snug, which I don't find good for locks. I did also have to purchase large washers to add to this, as the small nut just ate into the door (but that may be a symptom of my door more than these locks, but stripping out isn't good, it just shows it is cheap metal and probably not the best to have for locks. I'll use these for the moment, but will probably switch these out again if I can find stronger ones.

Needed and liked the optional tabs. Used them to lock under seat compartments in gen 3 Tacoma. ...requires opening the hole slightly and removing the existing stop tab on the lower surface of the door. Takes 5 - 10 minutes per door. ...a little awkward tightening the locking nut as there's nothing but the key to prevent rotation of the lock as you're tightening. ...but it doesn't need to be very tight. You'll figure it out!
