What I LIKE: 24V allows for brighter lights, and love the option for cool white AND warm white to allow tuning the color temperature with true white output, vs reddish/ greenish/blueish white with other controllers. It works flawlessly with my B8 remote. What I DISLIKE: the color Scene-modes are terrible. ALL of them just fade through all the Same colors- one mode does a “jump” from color to color instead of fade. No way to edit scene colors, every mode looks identical. They should have at least had some variety, like Red Green Blue for Christmas, pastels for Easter, Red White Blue for the 4th, Green Orange “Black light” for Halloween, or allow you to change them like all the other lighting apps do. I also purchased the WiFi/ Alexa add-on for it. It works for the phone app, but doesn’t do account linking for Alexa. Clicking to join does nothing. No errors, no invalid password, nothing. It just sits. And you have to re- download it every time you try it. I contacted the app designer over a month ago for recommendations, but no response, so I threw it in a drawer hoping one day maybe they’ll get it working. => For LOCAL control via a remote, this is the bomb. Phone control also works great, but can’t get it to do anything with Alexa. Color temperature, dimming, and on/ off by schedule works well. If you want automation, like set to blue for stormy weather, yellow for sunny, or light up if the mail has gone, that doesn’t work until the Alexa app gets fixed.

Cheap, works well, part of a good system. The self-repeating function is very useful when you have to cover a large area. They will even repeat the signals of other zone controllers. This is one of the only budget level controllers that actually is worth buying. Pairing them initially can be a little bit annoying, because you may have to go unit by unit to disconnect or reconnect power as part of the pairing procedure, but once you get used to it, they really work well.

About the best controller you can buy for the money. I’m a pro who installs these on the regular. I put this one in my home so it works well!

Installed 3 of these and they're good, gave dimming without having to install a special dimmer/transformer. Instructions are clear on wiring but don't mention if you can swap modes after wiring. So before wiring for application I had to power them up and change them to the mode I wanted, indicated by the led .

I bought a new product, or I thought I had. The product I received has plied marks in the connectors, scuffs on the case and to boot the red channel doesn’t work (it’s permanently on) The return window passed 4 days ago, I didn’t try it until now because I finally got all the stuff I needed together

I have some of these set up in a room and it looks so great I will probably do it elsewhere.
