Dawson's Creek: The Complete Series

I just love Dawsons Creek, I started watching it about 10 years ago but missed quite a few. I brought this box set last week as I had started watching it again in full on channel 5 but they stopped showing it half way through so I just had a buy it, mainly to try and find out what was going to happen with Joey and Pacey. I think that its such a break from the real world watching this, I almost wish I lived there and still 10 years later I wish that Pacey would come knocking at my door.... anyway, its fab, I love it.... I do agree with one of the other reviews, the package is not very good, the cd's are all overlapped, when mine arrived the cd's all fell out when I opened it, I know that there are 34 discs but its still a little poor... But don't let that put you off, its fab and a great price.

First of all I would like to point out that I am Dutch. Even though the specifics said this DVD didn't have subtitles in Dutch (which didn't bother me).... they do! It has English, French, German and Dutch subs, so that's a huge plus. It has every episode ever made, so I can't say much about that. If you loved watching Dawson and his friends when you were a teenager yourself.. it's still great to watch now that you've matured (I'm 25). I guess the only thing that is a minus for me is that there aren't really extra or special features. Sure, at least one episode per season has audio commentary, but there are no interviews or behind-the-scenes features. I bought it while it as on sale, so it is definitely worth the money, but I would not have bought it for the full price, not without special features. Ah, now to have breakfast and watch season 4...

I completed the box set which I thoroughly enjoyed and noticed on Amazon that they recommended the finale DVD and the box set as a good buy. I didnt read the reviews as I didnt want to spoil my viewing but never dreamt that the finale is exactly the same as what is included in the boxset. Do not make the same mistake I made and Amazon why are you recommending people to buy both DVD's it doesn't make sense.Besides duplicating the finale I have to say that I was consumed with Dawson's Creek fever and recommend this as easy and enjoyable viewing.

Imagine a program which allows one mind to escape for a few hours into a world where friendship plays a key role in the way you think and the actions you take, you watch peoples lives and ambitions make or break their future, prepare to voyage into DAWSONS CREEK.... For me, this program has made the inevitable process of becoming an adult easier and less daunting, the characters are written with such observation and detail, as you watch them clash with their dynamic lives and the choices they must unwillingly make today to shape tomorrow. Each character portrays an image which you can relate to, the show has definetly inspired me to follow my ambitions and dreams for my career in later life (partly due to Dawsons passion for the theatrical), this program has far greater significance and meaning behind it's vivid back drop and it's fresh young talent, we now live on a planet where humans crave and lust power and a place where prejudice and racial conlict is bordering on the edge of insanity, the faces that make up Dawsons Creek restore a little faith in humanity,the mature language and hospitality that is seen in the program should be recognised and taught to all. I will not tell you the story, you must venture on this journey yourself, you might even learn a little about your life and which road it is going on, I know I did.. People of all ages should witness this spectacle, but if you are a teen, put it on your christmas list!

for everyone who is worried about buying this item after reading previous reviews of it skipping and jumping and being fuzzy, ignore them! admittidly there was a problem with version 1 of this set but sony has re-issued dawsons creek and all of version 1 has been recalled- amazon now only stock version 2 so while it is at this price i would snap it up! i have grown up with the creek and still love it now and was very impressed to see it for such a low price, i hadnt seen it for about 5 years but as soon as i recieved it and put on the first disc i was transported back to being 15 on a sunday morning laying on my bed watching it on channel 4, thinking god i wish i was joey! excellent box set for people who remember it and want to feel a little nostalgic or a perfect present to introduce someone to the creek! everyone can relate to someone which is what makes it so perfect! also, this box set does include the dawsons creek finale, so no need to buy that in addition to the box set. happy watching.

I could write a lot about the show. Just watch, cry, laugh and enjoy. Reliving the ups and downs of teenage life. Hang out with the gang: Dawson: The spoiled, naive and dreamy only child, whom we all love and hate. Joey: The sweet, sarcastic and insecure tomboy. She's adorable. Pacey: The kind, lazy and bad boy. He's SO lovely. Jen: The stubborn, honest and bitchy girl, we envy and like. Jack: The shy, tentative and good guy. What's to say. Andie: The annoying, lovable and determined know-it-all. Try and keep up with her. Audrey: The girl, who have it all. But no self-esteem. She's cool and she's a pain. Only problem is the packaging. It would cool if the new edition was available in Europe.

Great series

Ich war mal wieder auf der suche nach ner neuen Serie und stieß dann auf Dawsons Creek ich habe die Box gebraucht gekauft und knapp 50€ bezahlt. Mit den DVDS war alles in Ordnung, nur die Pappbox war an einer stelle leicht eingerissen aber das ist bei einem Preis für unter 10€ pro Staffel ja kein Problem :D Die Serie fand ich echt super, hat mir total gefallen nur zu empfehlen :D

La serie en blu ray me gusta lo unico a destacar que pone que viene con subtitulos en ingles pero solo el audio por lo demas no hay problema lo unico que al envolverlo en papel vino un cacho de caratula roto pero sin importancia hubiera sido mejor meterlo en carton por lo demas contenta con la compra y el pecio .

I've got a new home cinema so it's definitely a fault on the dvd, it won't play
