Review: My Early Years of Exploring Electronica.... - This collection brings back memories of the mid-1990s, when I 1st began to explore the world of EDM. There's great some house & Euro dance on this disc (as well as some hip hop & R&B which don't seem to fit in here). Culture Club's "Mr. Vain" is a great way to open up the CD. Other highlights include Shawn Christopher's "Make My Move", Captain Hollywood Project's "More & More", The Goodmen's "Give it Up", Elastic Band cover of "Running Up That Road (my 1st time hearing the song here. As the previous reviewers said, this is a hidden gem in this set with some wonderful singing courtesy of Tom Hooker AKA the voice of Den Harrow), U96's "Color Sees No Colour" (which samples Trans X's "Living on Video"), & the closer, another cover song & one of my favorite dance tracks from this time period. Most of the songs on this set are radio edit versions. Still it's a great dance music compilation once you overlook the handful of songs that don't seem to fit. Get it while it's still at a budget price!

pure energy 2 ... you should get this cd
I like this CD a whole lot, I play it almost 3 times a week. Personally I got this CD for the track 'Running up that hill' (Alex Party Version) performed by Elastic Band which is extremely hard to find anywhere you look! I also like U96's Love see's no colour which is a good techno/alternative track. The Goodmen's Give It Up is also here but its the edited radio version. I also like More & More by the captain hollywood project which is also here, the bass is kinda heavy but it's pretty good. It also has other tracks known to many and played on your local dance station, but the ones mentioned above is the reason why I got it. I like it so much that I own 2 copies!

Elastic Band's Running Up That Hill
The track from Elastic Band, Running Up That Hill, is a rare and out-of-print song, and this CD is the only way to obtain this track today. (Running Up That Hill is a cover of the Kate Bush song.) The rest of the CD contains club music of little relevance. Pick it up if you're looking for this track, which has a track length of 5:56.
