As a quick aside, this does NOT come with a UK or EU charger, it comes which a US one. I expected this and it is no fault of the seller as it ships from the US. You will need an adaptor if you don't live in a place that uses US sockets. Considering it was shipping all the way from the US to the UK, delivery was excellent and speedy especially considering the nature of the product, arriving 2 days early (this was premium delivery). No issues at all, comes well charged out of the box and the arcs are stunning. The casing feels study and well-built and the switches are easy to operate. Has an automatic-hold and a single-arc setting. It is safe to touch the output, although I highly recommend a lower voltage setting if you do. It will sting a bit briefly even on the low voltage setting. Do not point at any electronics unless you want to risk electrical faults or are using it to power a lightbulb. This should go without saying, but don't touch the output if you use a pacemaker or similar health device.

Worked great at first but died in less than a week with minimal usage.

This is a fun little novelty item I bought for myself. My friends all find it fascinating and it provides a great zap zap electro sound which is incredibly satisfying for those with an auditory kink. It's easy to assemble and take apartt for storage. My only issue is sometimes it doesn't fire immediately and you need to pull the trigger a couple of times for it to fire up. The various settings are great and since my purchase was such a success, it encouraged a friend to purchase one as a gift for her husband.
