Maxons Winter Mixture Jar 3.4 Kg

I found myself paying £1 per 100 grams for Tilly's Winter Mixture on the high street, which are very nice. My previous favourites were 'Tuck Shop' but they seem to have gone. So 'no pun intended' I decided to 'bite the bullet' and try the Maxons from Amazon, despite a couple of 2 stars reviews. So glad I did as I cannot fault them. They are unwrapped but well covered in sugar so have not yet clumped together in the jar, but if they do a good shake will soon loosen them up. Lots of old favourite flavours plus a few new ones. Give them a go and see if you don't agree.

Very fine quality winter mixture sweets, recommend a jar for the winter

Great old fashioned boiled sweets, very moreish and rock hard. A delightful treat especially in the winter.

These are definitely not winter mixture, they are just flavoured sweets, very disappointed

Excellent product for a winter warmer treat, a little heavy on the black and white mix perhaps. Not quite as pokey as I remember them from cycling to the post office to buy a quarter pound 35 years ago.

Value for money have had them several times

Good quality, great flavours. Jar arrived in good condition. Long expiry date, 2 years. Although that’s unlikely to be put to the test!
