These straps worked as intended Much better than using bungees. I used one on the front wheel and strapped to the downtube frame, also used the other on the rear wheel to my rack, so pedals don't spin. I would recommend.

Honestly, I expected more for the money. I actually need the extra length of these straps, since my bike frame design won't allow for the front wheel to be secured in the manner depicted in the product description. I have to run this strap through to the back wheel in order to keep the front wheel stable. The package insert shows several different alternatives for securing your wheel, and the strap is long enough to facilitate any of the methods. There is also a very specific way to thread the strap through the buckle to keep the strap from slipping, so take a moment to read the directions! With that being said, they're just light weight braided nylon straps with a rivet to hold it together. I have seen similar products for less $$ that seem to have a little more craftsmanship in their design.

The wheel of my bike never turns after using the strap. It prevents the wheel of my bike from hitting my car. The strap never loosens. I would recommend these to anyone with a bike car rack. It comes with two straps (I only use one per bike). I leave the other one in my car just in case or if I add another bike to my rack. The price was great and totally worth saving your car over.

It may be two feet long. But any competent person can cut it to whatever length they desire. I clipped it together and pulled with all my might and could not get the fastener to separate. I won't have any problems with this product because I am not retarded. If you lace it wrong, sure it will not hold. If you are not retarded, it will hold great. Holding a tire against the frame is the last of this strap's worries.

These are “ok”. They’re not very strong, they’re not very durable, and they’re not very easy to adjust. They’re just ok. Which makes me gawk at their average review score and their $13 price tag. For that money, these are TERRIBLE. Guess it goes to show what a brand name does. Don’t buy these - get a cheaper pack of better straps.

Bought this on a flier to replace the bungy cord that I had been using to stabilize my front wheel during transit on the car bike rack. Didn't realize that it was over 50" long. Turned out to be of sufficient length that I was able to replace two cords in my arrangement. Quite satisfied with it. Keeping the second one as a spare.
