Great for rolling vinyl
I used this to roll vinyl flooring in both my bathrooms and the laundry area. It worked perfectly. This tool is very sturdy, and I felt I could put as much pressure on it as I wanted. The rollers were perfectly flat and rolled well even under extreme pressure.

Excellent
Solid quality and HEAVY. Using to install 12 inch glue down VCT tile in my den. Arrives in molded styrofoam within a sturdy cardboard box. This is a BRAND NEW item. The rollers are pristine. I don’t understand the reviews that mention rust. Ignore them.

Product works good
Product works like it should but definitely not impressed with how it arrived in the box. I didn’t need this item right away so I left it in the box for a few months and upon opening it I realized the styrofoam packaging was destroyed and I was missing a washer/cotter pin. Not the end of the world but annoying to have to run out and grab one. Other than that it works great

Mine formed oxidation in 2 days inside an enclosed trailer at 55 percent humidity outside.
I suspected this was at least 301 Stainless Steel. Considering it is a finishing tool that would be in direct contact with new material. I was wrong, as the title states. I personally would not use this item in a professional setting. Rust is not risk I'm willing to take on new surfaces. A tool like this should be a throw in the back of the van and forget it till needed tool. If you own one, use an oil protectant or something during downtime that you can remove easily, before use "every" time. I'm not saying it's a bad product at all. It will get the job done and has a solid build. Just a heads up.

Fresh Vinyl Plank Install
I just used this to install some thick vinyl planks in my kitchen, and it did a great job. The flooring ads show people rolling it with a product like this, but then in the manual suggest using a 75-100 lb. roller. Like another reviewer said, I consider DIY to be good exercise, and this did the job by putting my weight into it. It was indeed cheaper on Amazon than at HD; always check Amazon first. Further, this is a lot cheaper than the 75 lb. roller and is taking up a lot less room in my storage area. I would definitely recommend this product for a small to medium sized vinyl plank install.

Storage: Do not store in damp locations. Or leave sitting on bare concrete.
Does what it's supposed to. We use to use 100lb. But 75lb works fine for glue down carpet. As far as rust goes. The rollers are chromed. And if left in rain, stored in damp garage or even left on concrete. It will rust. We keep them wrapped in burlap or a towel and up off of the floor. Put plywood under it if you must. And use carpet scrap or whatever to dust off surface rust prior to use.

Rolled the vinyl tiles I had put down, just to make sure they where down and no air trapped under.

I had originally purchased this roller to use while gluing down vinyl plank in my basement, but I ended up renting a 75 pound tile roller from Home Depot which did a much better job for that application. However, this roller was not a waste of money because I ended up using it while installing new FRP panels in my basement shower stall. This roller came in really handy to make sure the entire FRP panel was affixed to the wall and roll out any air bubbles, though I do wish the roller head was a bit narrower so I could have exerted more pressure (the outer rollers may be removable for that purpose, I just didn't think of that possibility while using it). I like that the rollers are a small diameter, which lets you get in close the the edges, and the extendable handle is useful for getting into hard to reach places or increasing your leverage. Finally, this roller was nearly half the price of the identical roller in hardware stores, so it was worth buying it for odd jobs in the future.
