Director Table Lamp

Beautiful lamp!! The tripod legs are not as wide as the lamp shade which is awesome and helps with placing it on a table that may not be as wide or deep. It has a pretty narrow stance and looks great. We used an LED 4000k bulb and it provides a great light from the black shade. The bright bulb compensates for the darker shade. We did use felt pads under the legs just in case it scratches surfaces. The light cord runs down one of the legs which helps hide the cord some.

Nice little lamp. The only reason for 4 stars is that the switch is really close to the plate making it hard to grab to turn on/off. Going to add it to a wifi switch for auto turn on/off

I love this lamp!!! It looks so awesome in my office. It was easy to assemble and looks great lit up. Of course the shade is not black when it's on, but it looks great. If i had to change one thing, it's where the cord comes out of the back of the leg. It's up about 3 inches. It would be great if it were lower so it doesn't impede the tripod effect as much. or find a way to clamp it along the leg on the way down. But it's not enough to disappoint me.

This is a beautiful and elegant lamp. It is very sturdy, the base is metal. It provides a mood light but not bright enough to light a room up. When it is on, light seeps through the lamp shade so it is not completely opaque. Not necessarily good or bad to me.

I assembled this lamp fairly easily myself. While the legs are metal, they are still lightweight so I was able to hold one leg up at a time against the top base with one hand while I set the screws in with the other. You have to then screw the bulb connection into the top base which might give you twists in the cord - the way I remedied that was I over-rotated the cord in the opposite direction (counterclockwise) before I began twisting the bulb attachment into the base (clockwise) so by the time the bulb attachment was fully screwed in, the twists cancelled out and my cord was straight before stuffing it down the lamp leg. It might take a few times to figure out how many twists you need to compensate for, but it paid off taking the time to get it right since I'll never have to do it again. I'm very happy with the aesthetic. Wanted something simple, but with a little character, and modern.

I purchased this lamp many years ago and I love it. Sadly, the shade got crushed during my last move — I wish there was a way that I could replace the shade only.

I love this lamp! Simple and stylish. Perfect for my mid century modern theme. Love it so much I ordered the floor lamp. Definitely worth the price.

I got the 28in table lampversion. While assembling I frustratingly noticed that one leg was larger than the other (by about a quarter inch), which left the lamp uneven. I tried to even the shade by bending it to one side, which easily broke a piece of plastic off where the bulb assembly meets the lamp. Thankfully this broken piece didn't affect the lamp from attaching that much, but it took more than a few tries to balance the shade to a level position (by twisting the shade until it was even, and forcibly bending out a leg to balance it). The look is great, but why in the world does one leg need to be longer? I'm giving it three stars because the price of this lamp was the cost of a full sized similar styled floor lamp that cost the same price, yet I had to fight this lamp (and unfortunately easily break it). Also, the felt at the end of each leg fell off during assembly (nothing abrasive against them, they simply fell off out of the packaging), which I had to replace with sticky foam pads to prevent scratching the table I was placing it on. If this lamp was half the cost, I'd give it a full rating. But at this cost I should love it without any sort of frustration. At least I finally got it to look good aside from it's flaws.
