This is a perfect starter kit. Came with everything I needed and items have held up. I would definitely purchase again.

This is a great starter set and make a good gift for a newbie! The blades are super sharp and make scoring easy. I don’t use the fabric that came with the baskets, instead I flour my baskets and place my loaf for its second rise in the banneton baskets and just tossed the fabric in the trash. The baskets are easy to keep clean as long as they are kept dry and moisture free! The traditional sourdough boule is a decent size and fits my loaves with 500g flour, but the sandwich bread basket is better for smaller loaves (no more than 400g flour in my experience).

Has all the things, they are of good quality. Would have liked more slings. All the pieces are attractive and arr holding up well.

I have not used the kit yet, but it appears to be of good quality. I had purchased this as a gift but I initiated a return because I thought that I was sent the wrong box by mistake. The box only mentioned the baskets and did not indicate that all the other pieces were included. Amazon sent me a replacement right away, and the box looked the same. So, I opened it, and all the pieces were inside as indicated in the Amazon description. I like the kit so much that I will give one as a gift as planned, and I will keep the other one and forfeit the refund. Bottom line: the kit is as described and appears to be of good quality, but the box could have a better description to avoid confusion. Amazon’s customer service was great.

Has everything you need to get starter. Love that the banneton had a liner. I just hand wash it ok after use.

I sent these along with the King Arthur bread book to my son and his wife for Christmas. They loved the gift and are eager to start making bread.
