ELEGOO Building Plate for Mars 3 LCD 3D Printer

The new build plate was EVERYTHING one would expect a factory replacement part to be... As good or better than the original! Not that my original had failed, zi just wanted a space to quick swap out and keep the printing going indefinitely. And of course these pieces are well build and solid enough to hold form and be built so precisely thst NO re zeroing of the printer was needed between the swapped build plates. A quick twist of the top tension know and I was into the next print giving ME PLENTY of time to work the previous print off the other build plate and prep it in time fir the next swap out. Doing this allowed me to continue project with nearly zero interruptions. Thank you Elegoo fir building such a great and robust printer with amazingly high Quality Control standards including these "replaceable" parts! You have earned a customer for life!

I got this because my prints were having trouble with adhesion. I had unknowingly scratched my first print bed with the metal scraper that came with the Mars3 and then thought sanding it would make it better (it made it worse though in my case, nothing would stick to it). Getting a new print bed really helped with this. If you are reading this with the same situation, do yourself a favor and search and buy these two things: 1. PLASTIC RAZOR BLADE SCRAPER It will get prints off the bed without scratching it and it is 10$ and comes with approximately infinite replacement plastic blades. 2. Rubber Squeegee Water Blade Decal Wrap Applicator This is to mix up your resin when its sat in the vat for too long and also brush gently along the FEP to make sure there is no resin stuck to it and not mess up/puncture/scratch the FEP.

Perfect fit

What can you say, it's an Elegoo Mars 3 build plate. It fits and works. I would recommend if you are printing a lot of pieces so you can take one build plate off (clean, wash) and put the other on and start another print.

It is exactly like the original. What else can I say. I use this one, with a flex plate added and another bed, for a fast swap to another color resin. Just make sure you re-zero your plate when adding your flex plate.
