I have a 2020 Subaru Outback and purchased this Socket to replace the original that for some reason decided to stop working. It is an after market generic item so it will not be just "plug and play" The only modification I had to make was to the end of the cable that came with the Socket. I had to attach male connectors at the ends too be able to plug into the original factory cable. The Socket did fit into the original socket hole, so that is a good thing. Do far it seems to be working great and for the money you can't go wrong.

The fit was a little undersized but still very functional. I modified and it fits and looks great! The door adds a little more protection from debris getting inside it cause pre mature failure. Great value for the price!

Material Quality is fine doesn’t feel cheap, comes with cables to connect. But i thought it was bigger it didn’t fit the hole where it insert. Maybe this are standard and my truck has a different one

WARNING FOR FUTURE BUYERS – DO NOT PLUG THIS IN BEFORE CHECKING RESISTANCE WITH A MULTIMETER Now to the point of my review. I received two cigarette lighter adapters in the package. Without thinking much, I plugged one in — and what happened? This adapter killed everything we connected to it. That includes two phone chargers and one dash cam. I couldn’t believe it was possible until I disassembled it and measured the resistance between the two terminals. They were shorted. Anyone with even basic knowledge of electronics knows that shorting the positive and negative terminals is absolutely unacceptable. It can lead to exactly what happened to my devices. These adapters were poorly assembled. I don’t think it’s a design issue, since I haven’t seen similar reviews — but it’s likely a manufacturing or quality control defect with these specific two units. I tested both adapters, and both were shorted. This was a terrible experience. I consider it 100% the responsibility of the manufacturer and seller. I’ve suffered significant financial loss and wasted time. Extremely dissatisfied. Waiting for a response from the seller.

I bought these to install in my overhead console, to power a dash cam, and not have wires running all over. Going to install it in the overhead console, where the lights are located in my van.
