Got this for my son as he's just started collecting and painting warhammer he absolutely loved this set

A great start with a lot of models.
A great starter set with just the right balance between value and cost. Let me explain: Games Workshop are not cheap, their models and games systems are always at the top end with regards to cost. This starter set provides most, if not all of the figures from the larger starter set but excludes the scenery pieces which is no big deal for me with plenty of scatter terrain in my box. The only reason I can think of for spending the extra £50 for the larger Ultimate Starter set is the small sized rule-book and that seems just a bit excessive for me.

Great but not full rules.
It's AMAZING, but it's oversimplified. It has most of the rules and I understand why it is introduced this way but it flatly ignores many rules (eg. No command phase).

Arrived on time and this is a great starter set for anyone that wants to get into the hobby. Two armies without getting too crazy into model counts that can be built quickly for some fun games. For those already in the hobby, not a bad way to get some terminators in your lineup and some bugs to squish.
